Actually, I don't base my opinion on either leftist media, nor TV. (I watch very little TV. Instead, I read.)

I base it on well-established demographic trends -- the ethnic groups that vote heavily Democratic are growing, the one that votes heavily Republican is shrinking -- and on general voting trends among the younger population. I can go into the details of this if you like, although the information is readily available to anyone who wants to look. Of course, no one can predict the future. There may be events that push the country sharply to the Right. I certainly hope so, unless these events also involve some sort of  catastrophe. One kind of catastrophe would be unbridled rule by the Left, turning the US into a North American Venezuela.

However, I think it's far more likely that Trump will be the last Republican president. He may even lose in November.  Once the Democrats get super-majorities in the House and Senate, and hold the Presidency as well, we can expect them to start altering various structural features that have allowed the Republicans to hold power even though they are a minority-support Party.

For example, they may attack the Electoral College. They don't have to abolish it, just force it to reflect the popular vote. They may 'pack' the Supreme Court, if they're not willing to wait until the conservatives justices die. They can give Congressional representation to DC and Puerto Rico. They have already publically discussed all of these things. They will certainly open the borders again, effectively, and give citizenship to millions of illegals.

Now ... this may not happen. I hope it doesn't. But ... we ought at least to be thinking about what we can do, if it does begin to happen. It's going to require some real out-of-the-box thinking.

In the meantime, seeing how the mainstream media and Democratic politicians are grovelling before the rioters and looters, anyone who can should get that AR15 and necessary accessories, and check out the Oathkeepers, or the Three Percenters -- or, better, come to MyMilitia.com and find a group near you.

Specific ideology doesn't matter that much -- all of these people are committed to the defense of Western civilization, which is what is really at stake.
