Democracy Index 2016
According to the 2016 Democracy Index almost one-half of the world's countries can be considered to be democracies of some sort, but the number of "full democracies" has declined from 20 in 2015 to 19 in 2016. The US has been downgraded from a "full democracy" to a "flawed democracy" because of a further erosion of trust in government and elected officials there.

The "democratic recession" worsened in 2016, when no region experienced an improvement in its average score and almost twice as many countries (72) recorded a decline in their total score as recorded an improvement (38). Eastern Europe experienced the most severe regression. The 2016 Democracy Index report, Revenge of the "deplorables", examines the deep roots of today's crisis of democracy in the developed world, and looks at how democracy fared in every region.

I think they're stupid like foxes.

Once they've talked us into the country being a democracy, then all they have to do is mobilize identity politics and, so they think, they'll have the popular vote in the bag.

I didn't mean the Marxists, rather their target audience. Marxist are just pure evil.
The proper term for the voting masses would be "Ignorant" in most cases, for either they aren't bright enough or believe the lies of communists.
The fact is, they vote against their own best future interests in giving up Liberty and Freedom for security and their cut in the labors of another.
People are greedy to some extent and Marxist use the treasure of the nation to bribe the greedy, be it welfare or food stamps, these people don't care about the nation or those that follow them, let alone those that sacrificed their greatest gift from God.

With the Marxists in control of the public education system, they have the advantage in keeping the masses ignorant.
