I already voted and I may change my mind but that option is open for anyone.  Keep in mind that I have zero confidence in our government.

You bet they will, the leadership have no spine whatsoever.
There many that want to hold to their pledge of no new taxes, but the rest simply don't want to be tagged as obstructionists.
I say hold their ground and let the Dims own all of it, Hell or high water.

Yawn

I see no one has faith in the Republican Congress.

They need to get out of the way and make it public that they won't "obstruct" the Demorat agenda.  I support that. Get out of the way and let it happen. It's gonna happen anyway.

The question is, will you bitch and moan about this "do-nothing" Congress and threaten to abandon them if they do it, or will you understand and CHEER this bold move?  That's what I want them to do.  They have no real power anyway.

I totally agree, why drag it out?  I'd say hold your ground as well and let the chips fall where they may.  The ones that are gutless will overpower the few that may have had a reason to see what a great percentage of us have seen, what hardship most of us have known at some point in our lives.  Most in the WH have had relatively easy lives compared to what the average Joe out here on the streets has had.  Hardship does not phase us like it would them.  The only concerns they have are for them and theirs.

The decision to cave will not be what the election of 2010 was about, in fact -if they cave in now, what will be their excuses for it to their constituents?  What in the world has changed to make them even consider caving in?  We're too close to getting a wake-up call for the dems to get stupid and go socialist now!

What they do have is a soap box and leverage.
They need to be exposing the damage the left is doing, they also need to be demanding the EPA budget be gutted, that is,  if they are going to capitulate anyway, at least make the left give up something as well.

Otherwise, they need to step back and let  the left own the demise of the country if they haven't the spine to fight.

I will just say, you will see the RINO come out over the next 3 years.   On the 4th year they will work very hard at looking like a Republican.  You may even see some become democrats, before this dance is over.

I think they should give Obama exactly what he wants. If they take us over the cliff, they will get the blame for whatever ensues and in 4 years instead of blaming Bush they will (the Dems) blame the Pubs in Congress. Let's let him have the blame for it all to himself and the Democrat Party, otherwise we will see a repeat of the 2012 election.

My Vote is it doesn't matter...Obamao will get what he wants even if he has to resort to taking out the magic pen and starting with the exec orders.

I say make them do it, fight them every step of the way and obstruct him at every turn until he finally takes off his mask and shows the dictator face, half the idiots in this country want that anyhow.

I think you've got a few in there like Rand Paul who will hold to their word and shame the others into doing it.

If Obama gets his wish, more and more people will be on food stamps, plus his Dream act will bring in more illegals to become citizens and jump right in the welfare bandwagon. Dems will be winning all the next elections. That is, until the we become the next Greece.

Good assessment but I'd rather think we will be Little Egypt.  Think about it, we've already got the dictator and the brotherhood operating under other identities.  All they need is a base for their operations and they've already been having important dinners there.  They could just leave Chicago and move on in the WH.  They can use it as their mosque too.
