It's kind of interesting reading the Washington Post's efforts to put a positive spin on Holder's Justice Department's efforts to continue to pursue racially discriminatory policies:

QuoteInterviews and government documents reviewed by The Washington Post show that the case tapped into deep divisions within the Justice Department that persist today over whether the agency should focus on protecting historically oppressed minorities or enforce laws without regard to race.

It's a tough job trying to justify a second wrong as compensation for a first wrong but the Washington Post's going to try their darndest.

Heaven forbid were all equal under the law.
But I'm oh so freakin happy to see that the left still thinks some are more equal under the law.
I'm beginning to think the White liberals want to give certain races a pass, not because of past injustices, but because they think most of the are incompetent and unable to follow simple rules of society.

Yep. If the equal protection clause can be used to justify gay marriage then why can't it be used to prevent a bigoted selection process by the justice department.

It's sad when the concept of equal protection under the law isn't applied equally to all people. Just the privalleged class who earned their special entitlements by supporting Obama.  ::)

Kind like the hypocrisy of the left when they say Federal authority trumps states and prevents a state from making it harder for illegals to stay and work here. Yet those same liberals allow California state law to trump federal law when it comes to marajuana. Weird.
If you believe big government is the solution then you are a liberal. If you believe big government is the problem then you are a conservative.
