If Trump is elected, he won't have half a congress of Dems bound to him, nor will he have half a congress of RINOs bound to him.  He will be much more forced to work with Congress than Hillary, who will have half a congress supporting her as they do Obama.

There's a huge difference between voting for Trump if he's the nominee, than the other options:   not voting, writing in someone not on the ballot because it makes you feel good, or voting for Hillary - any of which is exactly supporting Hillary.  It's simply a matter of whether you want Hillary to become President or not.  There's no intermediate position.

I think Trump is sincere in sharing my contempt for Islamic terrorism, illegal immigration and the trade deals which screw the American workforce.

Sincere how?  He's changed party affiliation five times and wives three times.  They guy is all over the place.  He could easily change his mind from what he said last week, and he has.

You have no idea what your going to get with a Trump presidency.  The worse part is that even Trump doesn't know.  He seems to be clueless about things like the Constitution, and I seriously doubt he would let it get in his way, just like Obama.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

I know exactly what we'd get with a Trump presidency.

Every time another foreign leader of foreign dignitary says anything negative about Trump in any way, President Trump will quickly take to twitter to impose his name calling of that person pathetic, a failure, a dummy, a light weight, a bimbo, a sleaze, or a liar.

Your point is well made for one HUGE reason. We need a president who will work to restore the USA as the world leader. There is much work to be done in this area after 7+ years of Obama.

As he loves to point out himself, Trump is a "businessman" not a "politician."  Think about that.  Really.  What is the business interest he will be representing?  I for one do not believe it will actually be "The People."  I believe it will be "The Government Kingdom of Trump."

Government is a HUGE conglomeration, a business entity unto itself, a money monster --- they spend, spend, spend.  We can certainly blow the "Horn of Throw The Bums Out" and delude ourselves into believing we can replace those that don't do the "Will of the People," but if we don't insist our candidate(s) champion the "Will of the People" from the get go, then who are we kidding with "voting-the-lesser-of-two-evils"?

I am sorry, I have no confidence that Trump will serve anyone but himself, his legacy, his government kingdom.
Liberty at the expense of "security," honesty without complete truth, and passion without a walk of faith is no life of right.

Yes, that well-known Yankee diplomacy we've heard so much about. I for one would not like to be a general in charge of troops ordered out to defend the Trump honor.

The complaint about successful big-business folks is that they surely cannot become billionaires without being crooks in some way. The biz folks say they have the money to hire the loophole-lawyers to find these breaks.

Imagine someone on the inside, seeking the best for Trump's bottom line. If Bubba and Shrill can earn $200 million while exclusively in public office, then if Trump puts his best people on it, he could leave office a trillionaire...and we'd be living in refrigerator boxes.

I don't believe that for a second.  He's playing the game of getting elected.  Maybe you missed it when he said he'd be a different person as president.

Do you think he could have been as successful as he in in business if he was insulting and disrespectful all the time?

I think he, unlike Hillary, Bernie or Rubio, will actually put America first for a change.  He's not going to bend over backwards in being politically correct not to offend the muslims and illegals.

But go ahead.  Si ton your hands when he becomes the nominee.  Then you will have helped Hillary get elected.  Now that's really something to brag about for a guy call "mrconservative."

She may get elected thanks to Trumpatrons.  Trump is the divider  many reasons not even touched on in this article.  Granted Barnes is a GOPe hack.

http://barbwire.com/2016/02/23/conservative-journalist-predicts-republican-defeat/

"Looking at Trump's campaign of personal insults and incendiary rhetoric, Barnes contrasted the vicious nature of the Republican presidential campaign with the contentious but mostly civil debate on the Democratic side. I made the same point in one of my recent articles, noting:

...there is little doubt that Bernie Sanders will endorse Hillary Clinton for president in the end and rally his young supporters to her side. It will make Clinton stronger, not weaker. The Clinton-Sanders show has all the earmarks of a carefully staged demonstration of the Marxist dialectic, an exercise designed to create the appearance of conflict in order to force even more radical change on the American people through Democratic Party rule.

Regarding the GOP contest, Barnes writes, "If the turbulence continues—and there's no end in sight—the Republican nominee will lead a badly divided and weakened party in the general election in November. The Democratic candidate won't be a powerhouse. That's a certainty. But either Hillary Clinton or Bernie Sanders will have the benefit of a united Democratic Party, a significant advantage in a close election."

"The only question not addressed by Barnes is who else benefits from the Trump phenomenon. Globally, it can be argued that Russia will come out a big winner, with Trump joining the liberals in their policies of appeasement toward Vladimir Putin."

Maybe Trump should drop out.  His supporters will easily rally behind Cruz or Rubio but I dare say that Cruz supporters aren't as likely to easily rally behind Trump.  Ruboto's supporters are the establishment who will have a real decision to make on what to do.

Just food for thought.

The Democrats always circle the wagons around the nominee, while the Republicans sulk.

Why should Trump drop out?  He won Nh and SC and leads in the delegate count.  He's leading in most Super Tuesday states.

He should drop out because you want him to?  Screw the voters in NH and SC who picked him over Cruz right?

He can't beat Hillary or Sanders.  You cleverly leave out Iowa but it's moot anyway.  You said that you want the Republicans to win, didn't you?  You've been railing away about those that won't vote. Well here's a way to get everyone to vote.

Just threw it out there for conversation.  No need to get your panties twisted which I'm sure is about to happen along with some foul language to boot.

Who gives a shit about Iowa.  Iowa picks corn.  NH picks presidents.  Name me the last GOP candidate that won IA but lost NH and became the nominee or president.  No GOP candidate that has won NH and SC has failed to be the nominee.  Cruz can't beat Hillary or Bernie.  you know why?  He won't be the GOP nominee.  Trump will and he will beat Hillary with or without your support.
