I'm in the same boat.  I'm also dumbfounded about the Trump supporters.

Count me as dumbfounded too. Prior to finding this site, I was somewhere else - a pretty small site thats not the same one that most of you likely are speaking of. Along with myself, there was 2 other full fledged TEA conservatives. One of them, he went deep into the tank for Trump right away. The other one, he teetered on the fence between Trump and Cruz until after Iowa crap, and then he went deep into the Trump tank. Both of them, full fledged TEA guys - guys that Ive associated with for a handleful of years.

I was astonished. I then became the bunching back of theirs because I stuck with Cruz and refused to "come over to winner".

Thats when I left there and found this site.

In my opinion, Trump even screwed this up.

There was no reason to admit now that he is showing his true colors evolving. He is trying to appeal to more moderates but did he not realize he already had the entire north east in the bag??? All these states voting next Tuesday, except PA, he had in the bag. He didnt need to do anything to make himself more appealing to the people of those states. Now, after next Tueday, things move towards the west where the republican people are more and more conservative. The western states are close primaries. Theres no one that can cross over that would be drawn to Trump moderate/leftist pivots. Sure, I guess it could help Trump a little in California, but thats it. Washington state, republican wise, its very conservative, particularly the eastern part of the state. Same goes for Oregon.

Trump's trying to appeal even more to states that he already has in the bag all while beginning to alienate states that were already leaning more towards Cruz.

Sounds like something we have been saying all along. Trump/Hillary plan coming together.

You just hit the nail on the head...again.

I also am amazed at the level of support trump gets, I too am from another forum , a place where I really thought the majority of Conservatives were pretty much like minded. To see the hate for Cruz and the absolute worship of Trump, even from the admin of that site, is sad.
I went against my own rule and had it on Fox yesterday, listened to O'reilly tell the world that Trump WILL be the nominee, that his YUGE win in NY sealed the deal.. I laughed until I finally turned off the TV.  there was someone else trying to tone down O'reilly's enthusiasm, tried to remind him that it is far from over and that it hinged on how Indiana went, he finally agree but followed it up with how he doesn't see how the RNC can not elected trump as he is the "leader"

I too have been on that site. They are a sad bunch over there. The worship they have for Trump over there reminds one of the blind adoration for the little corporal many had in Germany 80 years ago.

Possum

I still say he is just positioning himself to become hillery's running mate after the gop kicks his butt out.  Or has nobody told him the liberals already have their candidates?

Associated press story......MAYBE this will wake some TrumpaLoons up.

"He's playing a role"

"Evolving"

I predict this will once again have a net zero effect on "Teflon Donny"...although any other candidate would be sunk. It's almost like how nothing ever stuck to Obama in '08... :cursing:

Is that like four years ago, when Romney's guy said that
now that the primaries are past, we're going to shake the Etch-a-Sketch
and create a new image?

Oh yeah, you must be referring to President Romney?
Yeah, it worked ohhh sooo well for him too.

Stick a fork in the NY Lib, he's done! The only reason political campaigns morph their candidate is because what he's doing is failing miserably.
