I've said it before, and I'll say it again: Republicans want Obama to fail.  Polls have suggested at almost half of Republicans actually want Obama's fiscal policies to drive the nation into a pit!

They'd rather see their country fail than a liberal save it.

"We love America!" my aching ass.

JustKari

I just thought about this a bit, yes it was a 24 hour problem.  January signals the fall off the fiscal cliff.  I think this has to do with the fact that Obama has done nothing but tout higher taxes on the business owners/wealthy, if Romney has been "hired" the fiscal cliff (end of tax cuts and the sequestration) seems less scary, under O we have a fiscal cliff, but also a tax increase.  No way facing that that I wouldn't tighten my belt.

I'm sure you can back up that claim, right?
So get to it.

Again you do your Demonrat voodoo.

We want Obama to FAIL.  Meaning NOT BEING CAPABLE OF ENACTING THOSE POLICIES THAT WILL DESTROY THE COUNTRY.

But then you know that. You just have an agenda to push, the country be damned!

Wrong again Einstein, we just happen to know his ideas will not work and will in fact bankrupt this country. We have been trying to warn others who are not quite as bright as we are but have obviously failed, and sadly that is on us. Sometimes you warn a child not to touch the burner but they do it anyway and get burned, well, welcome to the stove Sci Fi Fan and others of kindred minds

Some people just have to learn the hard way.    A full blown depression will do that for them when the unemployment check all run out.

Yep, and since he is clueless as to how a free mkt economy functions, he does what Govt does best, tax!
Now with that in mind, we know he has two choices, tax the Hell out of people, or print/borrow money, both of which are negatives for the country.

But here's the problem, at what point will the world lose faith in the dollar?
Of course no one knows the answer, but it doesn't take a genius to see at some point our dollar will no longer be a safe investment, at which point hyper inflation will end our very way of life because the world moved to a better holding, be it gold or another economy, but they will dump us in a heart beat.

Is this yet another example of your excellent "dot connecting" skills that led you to predict much higher gas prices and that Obama was toast?  Yes, I think it probably is.

We'll see.

I still feel NO sympathy for them. Only the business owner

And that's^ exactly the type of low class thinking that's allowed Obama a second term. You LOVE the business owners, even when they're stealing our money by the truck loads, but you feel nothing for the hard workers that keep the businesses a float.  You hate the "gubment" and dont hold corporations accountable for their bad actions. It's sad. And, even worse, it allows for thievery. I hope you realize this one day. I hope you grow out of this mindset for your sake and the sake of others around you.

And that's the kind of low class, class envy thinking that is taking this country down.

Now lets see if you have the intellect to actually respond to what I said, is that possible?
Here it is again, try and refute it if you can....

Elfie you misunderstood the sarcasm of his post.
It's the fact that libs voted for this mess, that they are now having to live with the consequences of their decisions.

I know where you're coming from, but this employer is only the first in a long list of those that will have to let people go and we all have to live with it, though it does carry a silver lining, in that in four years hopefully the libs will have awakened to the night mare they've created.
I seriously doubt they will. I think this is their dream. Prepare for massive government growth with stifling regulations and taxes. The lesson they will learn is the despised 1% won't be able to support their Utopian dream. I think we will see a massive corporate exodus, and employers forced financialy to let people go. I hope I'm wrong.
