To the original thought of this thread, "Trump doesn't mind losing the Senate to DIMs".

It's not a joke, not a miss-speak, a Democratic Senate & House would make it easier to forward the Trump agenda.  Trump will be the new liberal MSM hero for his ability to unite the parties, stop the warring factions, and reach across the aisle in a new wave of bi-partisanship.

Why wouldn't the GOPe bristle at the notion...?   This is becoming the marriage between the Democrats and Republicans they've been dreaming of, with a "strong man enforcer" to slap any TEA or Conservatives back into line if there's so much as a peep out of them.

After this week... they'll be fighting to keep Paul Ryan in the House, which could be problematic if he loses the WI Primary.

If Donald loses the general, the divide will probably continue under HRC, but should Trump win, the next step would be marginalizing or cutting out the TEA and Conservative party members.

IMO - the GOPe is already planning this several moves ahead, it's rare an exception like Canter's defeat sets them back.
