I'm a big fan of Hawley.  I wish the Republican Party would work to elevate him.  I'd like to see him make a run at the presidency sooner rather than later.

Gowdy talked the same game. His voting average is all in all is good but Hawley has a long way to go to prove himself, like writing bills that prove he's a capable conservative.
Without explanation, he backed the spending bill which was horrible in itself, but didn't have a penny for the wall, something he promised to support.

The GOP is packed full of these guys and eventually show us who they are. I'll wait and see, he is young, Hell, younger than DeSantis, who is easily swayed.
