The good doctor has a point. I think that liberals, progressives, whatever they're calling themselves these days, argue from emotion. Facts don't matter to them. Logic and common sense are thrown out the window. IMHO, liberals suffer from terminal PMS (oh, yeah, and lib females too).  :))

The media, from print to TV, they made a concerted effort to feminize male America.

The best way to combat it, is to call it where you see it, if a man is being overly emotional, or caught up in the latest trend (clothing cologne etc) tell him to grow a set and be a man.

An even uglier truth MIGHT be that if your kid turns out in adulthood to be a liberal, then you failed to properly raise him. Isn't the home where liberals all say our education truly begins?

Speaking of growing a set and being a man, Charlie Sheen has become the modern Hollyweird-wreckage-in-progress --- what manhood in America has come down to. His kids have been taken away, his publicist went AWOL, and the media is obsessed with whatever newest verbal outrage Sheen produces against the hand (TV studio) which formerly has fed him --- and a WHOLE bunch of others.

California and the west coast in general has long had a more permissive idea of families, and a higher number of divorces as a region over most every other in the U.S. To their view --- what we see in Hollywood films --- the typical family is a loser ex-husband or boyfriend or totally clueless jerk with no social graces whatsoever.

Nice role model to be sending out in syndication, to all those foreign countries.

Q, I have 3 kids. 1 is definitely conservative. The other two are still full of mush. My only political gripe with them is their love for John Stewart. I continually tell them he is grossly misrepresenting the conservative perspective. His spin is always twisted mentally.... Again, libs are mentally ill, eh?

If either of these two boys become liberals, I will definitely go on strike with them! They will feel the pain. They wont eat the same food as I do and they will have to find a new washer woman. I mean all of this. No bluffing.
