Trump does  have things to campaign on including standing  in front  of  burned  out  buildings and saying vote for biden or  vote  for  me.

Great to see people getting their jobs back. Hopefully we can get this virus under control so the re opening doesn't suffer.

It  is  under control but  trump has  lost the  messaging  war. 9 counties  in the whole  country account for the rise  in cases, but  cases  is a  meaningless  number.
Europe  has moved past the  virus already. Schools are  open, 95% of them unmasked.
The thing europe  is doing  different  is they DO NOT test people with no symptons. Trump fell for the screams for  mass testing when i knew then it was  just a way to make  it  look like  corona is far worse than it  is. We should  have never been mass testing. Its stupid

It will in the end. That is assuming Slow Joe remembers it.  What messaging war did Trump lose?

TRUMP got conned into this whole CV19 thing. He now realizes it BUT what can he do. He has to ride it out or admit he was had. You know that is not going to happen.Cannot fire the Midget and Scarf at this point BUT if reelected they will go early if not late this year.

Corona.

I guess that depends on which messenger you listen to and if it's fake or not. Those he needs to win reelection got his message.

Not sure why this is politicized. CV19, also known as the Kung Flu, is a real virus. There is currently no cure or vaccine. It affects some people severely - mostly older people or some with certain types of health (respitory) issues. Wearing a mask in public might reduce the risk of contracting the virus. So wear one is you want, or don't wear one and accept the risk.

We have a free country - well approximately and relatively. Open your business if you want or don't otherwise. Go to businesses if you want or don't. Work it out with your employer if you can work at home and, if not, either comply or find another job. What's so complicated about all this?

Unless there is a clear and present danger, the government needs to stay out of it and individuals should act like adults and make their own (wise) decisions. Well, hopefully wise and as informed as you can get in this age of fake news / false information.

One other fact. The isolation seemed to have reduced cases during a critical time when the health systems were overloaded and equipment was not sufficient. By spreading out the peak, it made it so the health systems could better address the event.  Whether you agree with the government's early actions or not, this one aspect seems to be true. I think it does fall into the clear and present danger category. But now we understand the condition to a large degree, so the government needs to get out of the way and people need to accept responsibility for their own decisions. Do we all need to sign a waiver?  :glare:

My position? I'm over 60 and have heart issues. I occasionally go out and, when I do, I wear a mask as a precaution. If I were 20-something, I wouldn't sweat CV19 - would go about my normal business without a mask and deal with it if I contracted the virus. Odds are low that it would have a harsh impact. I had a friend (late 30's) who did just that. He was very sick for 3 weeks and then recovered - back to work now.

Make an informed decision and live with it. That's the honest message for everyone. Maybe Trump will pick up on it - he's not afraid to speak the truth as he understands it. That's mostly why I like him- not always right, but you know where he stands.

In my view...he's been right each and every time...especially those times where the media tries to portray him as wrong and within weeks they are shown to have been liars.

You may say, well some of the appointees he's made....yes...and I chalk that up to deep state advice until he got to know who the deep staters were/are.   and he's still learning because Bush, Clinton and Obama, last two named in particular did their best to place in positions (stealth and permanent)deep state leftist globalists.    That's why this man is in the white house...to clean this filth out of there.

 Topside. That is one of the best summaries of the situation I have read. It is a balance and we in the at risk category have an obligation to make good decisions. Those in a lower risk category should go about their and help our economy. It is all about good judgement and personal responsibility.

You do realize Trump just ordered for more of the testing kits because that is what the people wanted and what the health officials wanted. He is not calling for more testing nor has he ordered people to take the test. He can not force businesses to reopen and he did not force them to close. That is all on a state level and a city level. I understand you like to point the finger at Trump and blame him for everything, most of all blame him for not listening to you, go figure, but if you are going to blame Trump, how about first finding out if he is the one  to blame.
