Apparently, Maine has TWO districts, and Electoral Votes can be split.

Right now it looks like the Southern District (mostly former Mass libs), is going for Clinton.

The Northern District (generally Conservative), is going for Trump.

I don't know how many States can split the Electoral College like this, but if California, New York, Pennsylvania, and other did, it would be a Game-Changer of the highest order for future Conservative Candidates.

I agree. I believe this is a state issue and the legislature can make the change. One wonders why WI for instance has not made the change. The GOP would have to control the legislature and governorship for it to happen.

CA, NY or any other liberal state will ever make that change, lol.

They'd do it in a flash if a GOP Presidential Candidate ever took the State.

I suspect that's what happened in Maine.
