This is not helping our economy!!

Manufacturers are already hard at work churning out banners for President Donald Trump's 2020 re-election campaign — in China.

According to a Reuters report Wednesday, China's Jiahao Flag Co. has produced more than 90,000 "Trump 2020: Keep America Great!" banners and flags since March, and the factory has ramped up production before Trump's threatened tariffs against all Chinese-made goods kick on.

The banners and flags cost about $1 each to make, Reuters said, and a factory manager said Trump's campaign suppliers appear to be trying to get their orders in before potential tariffs cause the price to rise.

There wont  be a  2nd wave and  its  only  killing  people who were dying anyway. if  you are very  old and  already  dying you  need to worry. The economy  is going to take a very  long time to recover.
A-people are being  paid alot not to work so they will be reluctant to work till the goodies are gone
B-Many small businesses are already  gone
C-Many places have  no intention to open up and  if Trump is stupid  enough to bail out states and  local govts the  house arrests will continue a  very  long  time.
D-Many businesses  have a tough time  making a  profit when they cant  be  more than half  full
E-If trump wants to get things  going faster then put the  jailed salon owner  on stage. Bring  unemployed  people  on stage. And, make  it  crystal clear that  unless you  fully  open up there will be  no money for  you.
F-Announce civil rights  lawsuits  in every  lock down state. Lawsuits, not statements  of  interest.

Regardless of the claims over a vaccine, this bug morphs constantly, meaning a vaccine is not 100% effective, not to mention all the variations that have occurred between the East and West coasts.

This explains why these increased deaths don't make sense with the reality of empty hospitals in most places.

    This revelation should change everything we know about the current state of affairs with coronavirus. Governors are justifying the continued lockdown by pointing to rising deaths, sometimes significantly, in many states and counties. But it now appears, using simple arithmetic, that in most states, the overwhelming majority of deaths are in nursing homes, and in some states and counties, nearly every new death is in a senior facility. And in fact, even in nursing homes, it appears that while numbers are being recorded now, the actual deaths occurred earlier during the peak. Nothing else matters until this fact comes to life.

Herd immunity is a powerful thing where life evolves.

I was attempting to explain to someone about the process of how society fights off viruses every year-flus, colds etc. However there was one obstacle that prevented me from doing so - herd mentality :biggrin:

I think you'd better consider the nursing home factor. Just ask Gov. Cuomo He'll be able to tell you about what killed thousands in NY. 
Yes, this is much closer to a regular flu than the deadly pandemic it was hyped to be.

With an R factor of three (versus "normal" flu's R factor of one,) here's how the number of infected persons increases (absent any extraordinary distancing measures):
