Poor girl. Her parents can't spare the moments it might require to take their little girl to get her state ID. (No info on why this 18-year-old has no driver's license.) But Democrats found her so attractive as a witness that they flew her, round-trip, San Antonio to DC, to testify against the Texas voter ID law.

So instead of somebody spending a few bucks in gas to cart this loser to the local BMV office, we spend THOUSANDS of dollars to cart her loser's ass to DC to make a big splash as a "disadvantaged voter."

It is to laugh.  :tounge: :tounge: :tounge:

Why cry about it? It's the Dems showing themselves. Read all about it here.

You or I would have to have valid ID to board a plane.

So much for Dems' respect for the very laws they forced onto everyone else.

Yeah. How did she get on the plane with no ID?

As a matter of fact, an ID is required to enter the white house. I would imagine the same applies to entering the halls of congress.

Did they suspend all of the ID rules just for her?

Amazing!
This is another Al Gorbachev moment, where the Dims find a senior living in a slumlords apt having to live on cat food.
When it turns out, Gore was one those very same slum lords.

This too will backfire on their ass in pointing out their hypocrisy.

What a bunch of hypocrits.
From here: http://www.ourwhitehouse.org/fieldguidewhouse.html

Everyone who visits the White House must have clearance from the United States Secret Service.

In your request you must list the name and date of birth for any person who is under the age of fourteen by the date of your visit. For those in your party who are over fourteen years of age, you must list their names, dates of birth, social security numbers, and countries of citizenship. The National Park Service states that this security information must be received by the office through which tickets are obtained no later than five business days prior to the tour date. Groups without security information will be cancelled. Also please note that upon entry to the White House visitors fifteen years of age or older will be required to present photo identification with information exactly matching the name previously submitted for clearance. Individuals whose identification does not exactly match the name or date cleared will be denied entry to the White House.

Like she couldn't spend all that money to take a freaking cab to the ID place, in San Antonio? This is just begging for a TV ad.

I have no doubt the late shows will have a field day with this one.

She said she lacked the necessary documents and the ability to travel to a location where she can obtain the newly required voter ID.

Are the documents she lacks, perhaps, citizenship documents?

Just a guess...

Nope, she had her birth certificate, and utility bills. When I first moved out here to Long Island, I simply took down my birth certificate and a copy of the mortgage bill from the bank. Actually her complaint was that her Parents were too busy to drive her and her twin sister down to the place, where they could get voter ID. To which I have to reply: "Child you are 18. That pretty much makes you an adult. Why do you expect you parents to chauffeur you around"?

Actually, I took my quote directly from the (current) AP story. The part about her parents being "too busy" is no longer there. It is obvious that the AP has changed its story.

I didn't see where she said she actually had a birth certificate or utility bills. (Wouldn't the utility bills be in her parents names though?).

My mistake. I got the original story from PJ Media, it said nothing about utility bills. In any case here's what they had:

Yep! The PJ media story has a link to the AP story and several of the comments at PJ media point out that AP has rewritten its story. It is amazing that in the old days, they would be able to do that and get away with it. Nowadays, though, to paraphrase an old T.V. news axiom - The Internet never blinks!

What? They don't have buses that run every half hour in that city?

Come to think of it. If the poor little darling can't get a ride to the ID place, how in the hell is she going to get to the polling place to cast a vote?

ACORN will make sure she gets there. On the taxpayers dime of course.
