Way to blow the election, pal.  It was all set up for you... Trump, hapless in a hotel-room with only a phone...  You had cameras and a podium, all ready for a scathing litany against socialism and organized Allinsky-tactics against free-speech... and you joined their side instead.  -Amidst vacant, self-absorbed back-patting.

It didn't occur to your Harvard-brilliance that you make Trump look weaker when you defend him

Has Ted ever spoken against socialism directly?  I can't find anything.  We know he's convinced Rodham is untouchable.  That's all he ever talks about in a post-Convention November-runup... her unquestioned viability.

Thank God, I haven't voted yet.  Because I'm going to continue never being on the same side as MoveOn.org, clinton, obama, sanders, and PC college-flowers.

Looks like I've been defendin' another cardboard intellectual the last few years.

I have to admit I'm sort of with you on that Kit. As Sheriff Clark pointed out, those moveon.org peasants causing the trouble last night. Were in fact not protesting, they were rioting.

That is a crime and not protected free speech.

IF that's how they want to behave then I say fine. Let them suffer the consequences for that behavior too.

If that means they get beat up, if that means they get put in jail, if that means that someone standing there in the crowd minding their own business that they physically attack with violence, to defend themselves against these socialists attacking their person, takes out a gun and shoots them dead. Then too damn bad for them.

I have no pity for thugs, and liberal criminals who break our law, and while/by doing so, attempt to violate the God given rights of everyone else in our society around them.

WTF are you yammering about? All I see is a bunch of disjointed claims and whining with absolutely nothing to back any of it up, just emotional opinion.

Taking a wild guess here, but he just watched a bunch of talking heads on FOX or CNN give him his opinion for the day.

From what I've been reading, ton and tons of people who say they would vote for Cruz now will vote for Trumo because of Cruz's comments last night

What you're reading is tons of Trump supporters taking to the Internet, to pretend they're "former" Cruz supporters. it's along the lines of those "life long Republicans" who have seen the light because of the current "ultra right wing candidate", who have now switched parties. IOW deep BS.

I dont know. I was disappointed in Cruz last night. It won't change my vote but I wouldn't rule out the fact that others won't change their vote because of Cruz's comments last night. I guess we will find out on Tuesday.

My guess though is that Cruz supporters dropping him are few but how many undecided voters were pushed from leaning Cruz to voting for Trump because of last night.

Just as many Trump supporters could have gone to Cruz too.  Not everyone is comfortable voting for someone who brings out the worst in people.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

Exactly!!
Why would a True Conservative suddenly jump ship and join the enemy, a NY lib by admittance?
All these claims are pure bull shit. I could see a lib suddenly seeing the light, but a Conservative tossing the principles to support a lib?

I wasn't happy that Cruz did not comment on the Saul Alinsky rules for radicals tactics on display last night in Chicago.

But I"m still going to vote for him tuesday here in Ohio.

Why? Would I do that if I was unhappy with what he said last night? Or rather didn't say?

Because of the facts.

And the fact is, Senator Cruz, is the only candidate with a proven track record of governance by and within the bounds of our Constitution.

Sure I feel he made a mistake last night, by not pointing a finger at the liberals, and pointing out that what they are doing is NOT American liberty and democracy but rather, quite the opposite of it.

But then again, Senator Cruz like the rest of us, is only human.

He's going to make mistakes.

Everyone does.

It's wholly unrealistic to expect that a man or woman, even though they may be President or Candidate for the Presidency, not to ever make a mistake.

That only become's a problem, in my own not so humble two cents worth.

When the mistakes are repetitive, or the person simply won't admit they made a mistake.

So far I don't think Senator Cruz has displayed that kind of mentality or behavior.

I mean hell he's fired members of his own campaign staff who have, indeed made mistakes.

A person not concerned with the truth, or doing what is right. Wouldn't do that, instead they'd try to excuse justify and cover up for their friend, their pal, their co-worker.

Ted doesn't realize the college-toadies and professional allinsky-ites are coming for him next.  He could've condemned them last night so it was in the news-cycle... words to be considered and held-up to the light... so his supporters could conceivably draw-strength from them.

" Happening now... "  endless clips of Cruz looking feeble, blaming Trump.  And then comes today's incident of a MoveOn-jackass rushing the Secret Service-detail protecting Trump.  -Followed by more feeble blaming by Ted.  I guess he figures it was the Secret Service-detail's bad luck to be assigned to Trump.  -That they're not an important U.S. Government service-career anymore, so let's ignore their traditional patriotic-significance.

When someone attacks the Secret Service, they're attacking us.

Anything Cruz says after today is just damage-control and brooding over missed opportunities.

Billy's bayonet

I'm still in for Ted, even if I think he was wrong NOT TO CONDEMN THE VIOLENCE AND BLAME IT ON THE LEFT.....not Trump. Ted's immigrant and foreign policy are tougher than Trump, you can bet that if he wins Fla and shows well in Ohio and has a better shot at the Nomination or if he gets the nomination the left is coming after him on those points and you can bet they will use violence as they did with Trump.
