There are no good guys in this conflict. Both sides are murdering fools that should be left alone.

Ted Cruz: US Is Not 'Al-Qaeda's Air Force'

On Tuesday, Sen. Ted Cruz distilled the current debate over possible military action in Syria to its essential dilemma. While Syrian President Bashar Assad is certainly a ruthless dictator, the forces aligned against him are dominated by jihadis and elements of terrorist organizations. Cruz noted that Americans didn't enlist in the military to "serve as Al-Qaeda's Air Force."

People sleep peacefully at night because there are a few tough men prepared to do violence on their behalf.

A foolish man complains about his torn pockets.

A wise man uses it to scratch his balls.

Yawn

He "borrowed" that from Dennis Kucinich, an honest lib. I was pleasantly surprised that he came out against this ridiculous war so quickly.

Don't care where he got it, he's dead on correct. The only thing the US should do is to make sure that both sides have enough weapons to fight on indefinitely. Maybe draw some of their neighbors in (not Israel). Semi deserted, desert wasteland is what I'd be shooting for.

I just finished e-mails to my two senators, Sen. Kay Hagan (D) and Sen. Richard Burr (R), opposing the resolution for military action in Syria.. Not surprisingly Sen. Hagan's site was not in service and I could not deliver my e-mail. This is so typical of this senator as she is MIA and only appears to give Harry Reid a vote. She came in on Obama's coattails and will likely go out in 2014 because of her support for Obama and his programs.
