Hardcore Democrats I know say they would vote for Trump...super hardcore!  They are admitting that Obama was there worse choice ever...
That's exactly what polls reveal, that there is a huge concentration of former liberals supporting Trump, possibly more than so called Pubs.

National Socialist Party
Were influenced by and in return influenced American Progressives. Where Americans eventually realized the horror of eugenics and put a stop to it, the Third Reich took that ball and ran with it. While Hitler praised FDRs economic policies, and Europe continues to not heed the lessons taught by the Weimar Republics failure, but continues to vainly forward the cradle to grave welfare state, Americans push back, and try to maintain the founding ideal of liberty through self-sufficiency despite the damage done by both the New Deal and Great Society. Never underestimate the innate goodness of American character, and while Progressives and Nazis have had a strange kinship in the past, they are not necessarily the same thing. Trump may be Progressive, but I wouldnt label him a Nazi.

The grassroots abandoned the GOP years ago. It's called the Tea Party.

Trump and Cruz take the two top spots in the Nashville straw poll.

A resounding no confidence in the GOPe!
Quotetea party people are incredible people," Trump added."These are people who work hard and love the country and they get beat up all the time by the media."

Trump delighted the crowd with his frequent use of colorful phrases.

"I don't want it to be about me. This is about common sense," Trump said.

"Normally I wouldn't say this, but I need your frickin' votes!" he added as he smiled broadly.
Is he reaching to the Tea?

QuoteA few hours after addressing a cheering crowd of about 800, Trump was declared the first choice Republican presidential candidate with 52% of the vote, as well as the top pick for attendees' second choice, with 26%. Texas Sen. Ted Cruz and former neurosurgeon Ben Carson were the second and third choices, respectively, in the NFRA straw poll for first and second-choice candidates.

And while there has always been a disconnect between the conservatives and party elite, it seems to be getting really bad in recent years.

I think that is because the silent majority has started speaking up.

The party elite have a problem this year! I don't believe the rank and file republicans will allow them to cram their chosen one down our throat as they have in the past. If these so called leaders don't get it together it could spell doom for the republican party as a whole! Remember the dirty tricks played in the last election cycle? It could be they have already gone to far not giving the republican voters what they promised them! Trump is a very good example of the disgruntled electorate!

I just see Trump feeding off what the people wish to hear.  Then running with that.

Trump has a long way to go to convince me on his conservative principals But with that said, I believe he is genuine in what he is saying! How do you speak for 50 - 60 minutes without a prepared text and no teleprompter if you didn't truly believe what you are saying. All of these cut and polished politicians giving speeches written by professional speech writers who's ideas are they selling? The writers? I think Trump is genuine but the real question remains on if you agree with what he is selling and if you believe he can do it!
