TED CRUZ: Here in Iowa it is a dead heat between [Trump] and me...

We are effectively tied, and Monday, six days from now, we'll decide. And so if Donald is afraid of Megyn Kelly, I would like to invite him on your show to participate in a one-on-one debate between me and Donald, mano-a-mano.

We could have you moderate it Mark, we could have Sean Hannity moderate it, or Rush Limbaugh.

But if he's afraid of Megyn Kelly, afraid of Sean Hannity, afraid of you and afraid of Rush, then we could do it without any moderators whatsoever.

I'm happy to do an hour an a half with Donald, any time, with no moderator, sometime before the Iowa caucuses.

That's a what a candidate who actually wants to work for the people, actually wants to earn the support of the people is stand up and defend your record.

So Donald, stand up and do the event, he said last week that he thinks I'm stupid. He should do very, very well in a debate with someone who is so stupid, away from the moderators that he is so afraid of.

Hell, he's scared shitless of a woman, I can only imagine what he'd do when Cruz eviscerates his ass.

Donald would never do this.  I think he wants to use this as a future excuse for losing Iowa.

It's like everyone says about him.  He's the schoolyard bully until you smack him in the mouth.  Now He just got bitch slapped by Kelly.  He's afraid not only of her but that the questions might be too hard.

This might be his first big mistake that actually sticks.

Just a passing thought...
Before the glitter and shine, adoration and praise fail - why wouldn't this be a good time to say, "You know what, -I- did my part, -I- brought up the immigration issue and got it front and center....  but I've been thinking lately.   Politics is a nasty business, and it's hard on my wife and kids - MEH....   I'm dropping out, (before I have to start spending REAL money)."

He quits while on top, saving face and not having to explain why he has no real plan for America.
They guy has been getting around a bit more, he probably doesn't like Iowa - and why would a New Yorker ever want to represent those kinds of Rednecks...?

Just a thought, the end might be nearer than we expect.

Couple that with his claim that he can work with the likes of Reid, Fuglosi and Schumer, and now bailing on debating Cruz.
Yeah, I'd say this might be the skidmark on the underwear that was his political career.

Trump thinks for some reason that everyone in America are sheeple who will just follow his lead, no matter where that is too, or what he does.

Take his so called "joke"/non-joke about shooting someone in the street for example.

He thinks Americans are actually so dumb, they'd continue to support him, even if he was a murderer.

So Iowan's, so American's, are YOU that stupid?

Respectfully I think most here, aren't.
One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

Good one!

I don't think Trump wants to debate because his lines are all used up and he doesn't really have a plan.  No details.

Ouch!

Cruz' people are quick on the draw...

By all appearances the Cruze team from top to bottom are the most media-aware campaign ever in GOP history. I've seen several stories about their efficiency across numerous social media platforms. It's almost revolutionary in Republican terms compared to so many of the Old Guard (what some here call the GOPe). Those guys are still wondering what happened to Blockbuster.
