Us "liberuls" have a problem.  Headline in a newspaper today says "Stock market soars on optimism: is Wall St. Rally an omen?" (USA Today).  Goes on to say it all hinges on getting the "fiscal cliff" resolved, but it looks like those spineless RINOS are going to put country above party and work with the Dimmocraps so that might happen.  Also, gas is dropping in my neck of the woods to a level, adjusted for inflation, not seen in a couple of years.  We predicted blood in the streets, snot on the walls, and guts in a knot if the Kenyan was re-elected and whaddayaknow, ain't happening.  We need to figure out some way to drive this country over the cliff and into chaos or we're gonna keep looking kind of stupid and very petty. Also the TEA party as we know it will be done for.  We can't let that happen.  St. Sarah of Wasilla is counting on us!

You presume to assert that actual improvements have been made based on one newspaper article and the price of gas dropping in your neck of the woods; simply stunning. Empty rhetoric of this sort is beyond reason. 

These aren't lies, nor is it news. Obama has flooded the big banks with free money, and it's making it's way to Wall St. They have Obama firmly in their pocket. No news here.

I and the rest of the "patriotic" (but slightly insane) TEA Party sure hope you're right, but I continue to have doubts.  Just saw an article where the "cut and sew" furniture industry is making a comeback a deep South state.  But as it's often said, as long as there's life, there's hope.  I know us "conservatives" will continue to pray this country goes in the toilet so we can say "I todja so!"  It's really going to be sweet, isn't it?

Don't worry Elmer. We liberals know that when the country goes down the toilet it's really because of 8 years of that evil George Bush. Our president has worked harder than any president in US history to pull us out of the brink of disaster. We liberals can't be expected to clean up 250 years of messes created by that Constitution and those backward folk that still believe in it today--you know, them crazy Tea Party folk!

Our numbers on google and Alexa are extremely high for the simple reason people come here because other forums are full of pissy arguments.
Watching the guests dropping off was a good sign they were slowing down because of all the crap, so it was time to clean house a bit.
I don't think there are anymore that think lying is considered a debate tactic, but when they show up, they won't last long.
Granted it gives people something to do, but the forum comes first, we don't need to go the route of LNF.
