Please tell me I am wrong for being a bit kidded that we are sending aid to Egypt right now, when our own debt is threatening to crash down on us.  Do we have to defend AND fund the world?

Try sixteen trillion bucks in the hole, Miss Kari. And yes, yes we do have to defend and fund the world. ( making it into our own image in the process )

Sorry about the very important missing one  , I can't edit it now.  I still have trouble with this though.  Are we worried they will come and take our resources if they get too hard up for them?  Will this payment strain our relationship with Israel even more, because the new Egyptian president was part of the Muslim Brotherhood?  Can we even afford to help someone else right now, unless the need is truly great, or could we encourage humanitarian efforts through other means of charity?  I don't know, I am just wondering what you guys think?

Ditto. Nothing our government does is more directly unconstitutional -- and immoral -- than foreign aid. Unfortunately, it's not illegal.

Only because government defines what is legal. Unfortunately, for government, it is immoral, but it does not concern itself with that.

Just count all the food on that table or being passed around. Five people. Enough to feed the Secret Service and the White House photographer who took the shot.

Don't forget those healthy school lunches, folks. Take some of this home in doggie-bags, maybe. Feed a starving homeless guy, throwing the bag at him from your passing limousine.

Also note the one token woman serving the 4 Good Ol' Boys.

Serving? More likely she's snatching the bowl away from them.
