Steve Foster was seen being stopped by police waiting to board a California train
Officer was filmed holding his bag and saying he was being detained for eating
Transit cop threatened to send him to jail for 'resisting arrest' at BART platform
BART later said he was only issued a citation and is investigating the incident

He can be heard in the footage saying: 'You came here and busted me. Why did you single me out, out of all these people?'

The officer replied by pointing to the sandwich and saying: 'You're eating. It's against the law, it's a violation of California law. I have the right to detain you.'

At the start of the video, Foster, who goes by the name Bill Gluckman on Facebook, waved his sandwich to the camera, adding, 'I'm on BART', before the person filming replied, 'You're not even on BART'.

The officer then said: 'I just explained to you that you are detained. You're detained and you are not free to go. I have a right to detain you.'

Foster replied: 'No you don't. I've done nothing wrong. Can you please let my s*** go. Let my backpack go.'

He can be heard calling for backup and demanding Foster show him some ID before threatening to jail him for resisting arrest.

Foster says: 'I'm not going to jail for eating a f****** sandwich.'

Too bad the rest of America can not see this and understand that this is the liberal paradise socialist want to implement for the whole U.S.  Can't eat where you want, can't say what you want, can't protect yourself, but crapping on the sidewalk, shooting drugs, after birth abortion, and drag queen reading hour are all ok.

The cop was in the process of looking for someone else, a drunk person, when he seen the Black guy enjoying his sandwich he decided the Black guy eating on the BART platform was way more dangerous than the drunk person. Keep in mind the drunk person had to be acting a fool for 911 to be called.

I guess the drunk guy got away to piss and crap all over the streets of San Francisco which I guess is legal...after all they have an app for that. It's called SnapCrap app.

And  im sure the  black guy  votes for the  people who want him in jail.

Have enough laws on the books so you can arrest anyone at any time. Don't like the way someone is dressed, arrest them for eating in public. Don't like what someone is saying, arrest them for a plastic straw.

I agree single handedly. I see what san Francisco is doing and has done, and how it is now becoming something of a model in the city I live. I have been to forums and hearings where people actually say "Why can't we be more like San Francisco The same thing where police ignore the drunk and mentally ill here, they will crack down on illegal parking like its no tomorrow.

Start with eating or anything, now add resisting arrest, top it off with assaulting a peace officer. That conservative will be gone a long time.
