Some years ago, and I know some others of you are old enough to remember this, Joe Biden ran for the Democratic nomination for President.  During a speech he said, "You know, as I was coming here I thought about how I am the first in my family to graduate from college, etc. etc. etc."  Unfortunately for Joe, it was revealed that Neal Kinnock, a candidate for PM of England had said, shortly previous to that that, "As I was coming here I thought about how I am the first in my family to graduate from college....."  That's how Biden got the nickname, "Xerox Joe."  He dropped out of the race after accusations of plagiarism.  Then he got a hair transplant and for a couple of years went around with little tufts of hair sticking out all over the front of his head.  It took  a while, but I see his hairline is again receding as quickly as his brain is.  Maybe they are somehow connected?

Some blogs have it that "Slow Joe" is angry about attempts to replace him on the ticket, so he is screwing up on purpose in an effort to sink Obozo - now that he can't get rid of him!

I have a doctor friend who thinks Biden's mental issues are from brain damage from his aneurisms.  He said it is rare for someone to make it through one, let alone two.  I wish he would come here and post about it.

I have an aunt (technically a great aunt, but when you're Cuban everyone's either an aunt/uncle or a cousin) who survived one. She's essentially like a post-stroke patient, in that she has difficulty walking and some lapses of memory.
