Seattle's decision to defund law enforcement has created more problems than it has solved them. This past week a social worker was stabbed and killed according to the Post Millennial.

The premise of this thread is flawed. No office has police officers next to every desk and they never will. That's the only way a cop could have stopped this attack.

The premise is not flawed.  Seattle is a shithole.  It was voted by the people to be that way.  That is where it all started.  Come to Seattle, free injection sites, city hall was opened at night for the homeless.  Tent cities all over the place.  Chop/Chaz was allowed.  All this is what led to the woman not living through a knife attack.  And, now to fix the problem the state will most likely label all knives as assault knives and hire more social workers to enforce it.  That's the mindset that led to this.  Same with Berserkly, they are going to use social workers to enforce traffic laws.  And then someone fleeing a crime will most likely kill one of these "do-gooders" trying to stop him for speeding.  Same logic, defund the police and everything gets better.  Forgot to mention, it's whitey's fault.

Prior to the attack, Benson attempted to de-escalate the situation with no success. Benson was stabbed 12 times according to the autopsy report.

If the police was fully funded they could have called 911. So your response is "flawed".
