Evidently Santelli isnt convinced the good jobs report is accurate. He claims it has a dark side.

I was wondering how Gallup could post such high unemployment yet a day later, the jobs report has fallen considerably.

Do you think Santelli has a valid point?

And John Williams speaks out on the BLS jobs report claiming the real unemployment is more like 22%.... YIKES!

ONE example: If you were out of work and drawing state unemployment benefits, but your benefits ran out even though you haven't found work... the government bean-counters don't count you.

ANOTHER example: If you exhausted your unemployment benefits and were unable to find work in your field and you decided to leave the job market via early retirement... the government bean-counters don't count you.

ANOTHER example: If you were employed three years ago and making $70K/year, and now you've been forced to cut back your hours/days/weeks of work or you've been forced into another line of work and your're making $28K/year... you count exactly the same to the government bean-counters now as you did three years ago.

The government's unemployment statistics have always been rigged; it's just worse now than ever.

I suppose your third example is proof of under employment. I had not really thought of the third example, but you are right.

On another point dealing with this same subject. Rush Limbaugh had a great little article.

"Why the Market is Down on What Looks Like Positive Jobless News"

I found it quite interesting so I thought you all may too.
