This article is spot on with our establishment failure to reign in immigration.  It is the reason that Trump has been able to build to a fever pitch in this election.  Our immigration problems could be fixed quite easily by enforcing the laws that we already have and not making new laws that make illegal immigrants want to come here in droves.  For one thing why would we create a special tax id so that illegals would be allowed to get mortgages and other loans?  These things are opposed to our immigration laws.  Health benefits, cash assistance, food stamps.....etc.  Almost all of the politicians ignore it, and even support it.  They hire them.  They raise them up as some super work force.  We can't fix it if we support it.  And it is obvious that the American people are desperate to stop it.  Not even realizing that Trump is one of the biggest illegal immigrant employers.  Come on get a clue.  Americans are supporting Trump because American politicians have done nothing and Americans are mad.

Well the saying from the establishment is that Cruz is hated by politicians.  I say politicians are hated by Americans.

Actually, the system is broken, or never worked adequately.  Like with the visa program.  There is no system to track those who enter the country.  HS has said they don't know where those people are who had their visas revoked.  I bet they don't even know how to find most of those here on visas. 

It's been said that 40+% of illegals in this country, came here on visas and overstayed.  ????

The question I want to ask is, what countries did those visa overstayers come from; and if it's one of the EU countries are they Muslims?

They have refused to implement/fix our immigration system on purpose.

For a reason.

If they did, implement or fix the current system so it would actually work.

The government wouldn't be able to justify setting up "checkpoints" to stop and harass and unConstitutionally search Americans who are doing nothing more than driving down the road they in part, as citizen's own.

Yes, our government is setting up so called "border check points" not at the borders, but well well within the borders of the U.S.

This is why the government is simply not serious about immigration. Notice the dog? That's a tool that cop is using, to search their vehicles without probable cause, or a warrant.

Remember, that the excuse the government gives us for creating them/setting these up. Is interdiction of illegals.

As a justification for infringing upon the citizen's Constitutional right of travel without being harassed, asked questions or asked for your papers and searched by the government and all without a warrant.

This is why the government claims it's doing these. That being the prevention of foreign invaders and or terrorists entering the nation illegally.

And yet we have 12+ million of them here already anyway and among them god only knows how many sleeper cell terrorists.

They're doing a real bang up job aren't they.

If you think Government harassment of the citizen is a good thing, then the answer is yes.

If you think Government disrespect and failure to uphold the Citizen's Constitutional rights is a good thing.

If you think preventing illegal invaders and or terrorists from just entering our country whenever they want too is a good thing.

Then the answer is decidedly and clearly no they are not, doing too good a job.

Yes I would agree with you but is it that they just don't want to track them?  Or there is no system to do that?  Are you sure???  If it is the latter then I would say we should cease issuing visa's until we can make sure the program is followed to the law.

There IS no system....or little of it.

Think about this, 15 million (OR MORE) illegals running around in the country and something like 30% are Visa overstays, Student or otherwise.

Now how in the world, with all the sophisticated computer systems available to the Govt nowadays can we not keep track of 5 million people, they can damn sure keep track of the rest of us come tax time, and they can keep track of 30 million guns thru mandatory registration.....but they can keep track of somebody who overstays a VISA and CONTACT them at their address of record?.....Cmon....that isn;t a system....it's a BS excuse.

You'd think somebody with half a brain cell would say something like....well, we're going to slow down the issuing of Visa's until we can clear up this mess with  5 million overstays .....but no, they don;t want to, they keep issuing more and more people ignore them.

Of course, any politician statesmen who opposes the millions invading our country is just a "RACIST!" We no longer have a say as to who is BLESSED to live among us.

The issue of illegal invaders running rampant in our nation is a very very serious one for the United States.

Both from a national security viewpoint, as in stopping terrorists from walking on in.

As well as a financial/economic viewpoint, as in they take jobs from American Citizens, and they cost the citizen's billions in providing everything from housing and clothing and food to healthcare, job training and schooling.

Because of that, in my own not so humble opinion, any candidate that has ever, even once, voiced their support for amnesty for these illegal invaders, or a "path to citizenship" for these illegal invaders, has disqualified themselves from being suitable to hold public office.

This voter intends to let that be reflected in their choice of candidate.
