Thank God for some logical minds on Capitol Hill. Joe Manchin today (paraphrasing) stated "I will not support any plan that furthers the entitlement mentality in America".
Manchin reiterated solid old fashioned American principles such as "needs-based" government support for "people in need". Manchin did state that he would support a top line of 1.5 Trillion but the measure was promptly rejected by Pelosi and the puppet masters.
The bottom line is that 2,000,000 illegals will not be living off of WE THE PEOPLE. The bill is dead.
America is holding on by a thread but today is a HUGE win for AMERICA and We The People!

So far, so good. However, depending on any democrat is very perilous. This situation just highlights how important the 2022 midterms are.
Kiersten Senema is supporting Manchin in all of this.
She's the only Dim that clapped for Trump at his SOTU address, Fuglosi was pissed.
The survival of America just won the first leg of a multi leg parlay. This bill is dead. Too many people see what is really happening now. That said, we need to keep pushing on all election audits. Get all 6 swing states done while doing everything legally possible to remove the Dominion machines next November. That is the critical second leg. In between all of that, we have to make sure that we all survive Biden's open borders from destroying America.
We have a lot to do, but it must be done.

True, and the commies were counting on apathy, a people comfortable in their lives, enough so, they wouldn't align and fight back.
They thought wrong!
Its not dead. Democrats will pretend to lower the price tag a bit and it will pass with all the new social engineering included, as well as all the tax increases. Manchin will claim he won and of course the new social programs will balloon in cost and be permanent.

Yep, with the help of the GOP. I've no doubt many will "Reach across the aisle while bending over".

I doubt they will help with the second bill that will be advertised as 2 trillion when it will really be 6 trillion. Sadly, they already helped with the first "bipartisan" bill and that cant have a re-vote in the senate. Manchin isnt a moderate, he is a radical leftist who needs to be re-elected in a conservative state, so he will sign onto the compromise which will soar in cost and taxes.
If this bill passes, no matter the amount, America is screwed.
We all need to call our reps and demand it not be passed.

I may as well be calling Stalin in my state.
The abuse in the bathrooms and on kayaks shown towards Sinema and Manchin is not helping the Dems. Manchin has stated his max line of 1.5T but I find it very interesting that Sinema isn't saying a single word about it.
Manchin just might be the nail but Sinema just might be the hammer. Let's hope her silence turns out to be golden.

They're RINO Fabians. What makes you think they won't screw over the country?

I never said he was, but why aren't the RINO following the same rule as he is then?
Democrat Jared Golden of Maine spoke out against the Socialist spending bill this evening. Isn't it just a matter of time before more rush to support him, Manchin and Sinema? Anyone without bias can see what's going on in our corrupt government. Tell me why the younger dems that haven't been corrupted will not join them?

I dont doubt dems will use tricks to lower the cost while leaving all the new entitlements in place to soar in cost.
Sinema isn't saying a word about any of it. Hopefully she says no all the way to mid-terms.

Not even much of a trick. Many of the social programs in the bill, such as free child care, are financed for several years. All they have to do is cut the time it is financed in half and the total will lower. They will count on the fact that the program will not be cut in the future. Where as the total cost is important, there is a whole lot of crap in that bill that will harm the nation that is not being talked about on the national level.

Reps are blowing it again. They should never have focused on cost, but on the massive expansion of govt. They also blew it last night by extending the debt ceiling till Dec. I already know they will cave again when the media and dems rip them for wanting to shut the govt down at Christmas.
