Republican Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul said Tuesday he would send a letter to the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) requesting a criminal referral of White House chief medical adviser Dr. Anthony Fauci.

"You kicked off your questioning of Dr. Fauci emphasizing federal law makes lying to Congress, a felony punishable by up to five years in prison. Is it your belief based on the evidence, senator, that he lied before Congress and broke the law?," Fox News host Sean Hannity, on whose show Paul appeared Tuesday, asked.

"Yes, and I will be sending a letter to the Department of Justice asking for a criminal referral because he has lied to Congress," Paul replied.

It seems like this is a debate, or splitting hairs, over what is/isn't GoF research.  Is there something more to it than that?  Paul and Richard Ebright say the research being done there IS GoF and Fauci/others say no.

What am I missing?

Fauci didn't just tell one lie, he has repeatedly lied. There are countless deceased people because of those lies. Not only has he and his Democrat friends lied but, Fauci has made a killing off of the patents and his book as well. I remember some time ago that murderers weren't allowed to profit from their murderous escapades, I guess that law only applies to Conservatives, Libertarians and Republicans...

Fauci has now lied on the stand twice. On May 11th and again yesterday. What is interesting about yesterday is the fact that Fauci ONLY DENIED the fact that HIS SPECIFIC GAIN OF FUNCTION research was different on a molecular level than Covid19.

Thus, Fauci essentially admitted to funding GOF research and is guilty of treason against the USA and all other countries circling the globe.

He will get his orange jumpsuit in 2022 when the GOP takes control of the house and senate. Mark my words on that for future reference. Until then, FAKKI will remain a free, but tortured, man.

Whether or not Fauci lied depends on the specific report that Fauci had in his hand at the hearing, and whether or not it's considered to be GoF.

If the NIH defines gain of function the way Paul stated, and Paul describe the research accurately, I would like to hear exactly why it doesn't qualify as gain of function. I don't want to just hear that people above Fauci said it wasn't. I want to know exactly why it wasn't.
