The Senate is under increasing pressure to bring up legislation repealing a key part of President Obama's healthcare law.
A House subpanel on Wednesday easily approved a measure to repeal a Medicare cost-cutting panel derided by Republicans as a "rationing board." Two Democrats — including the panel's ranking member — crossed the aisle and joined Republicans in voting to nix the Independent Payment Advisory Board

The lopsided 17-5 vote underscored the bipartisan support for repealing the board, which Obama has made the centerpiece of his efforts to reduce Medicare spending. It also provided evidence the legislation could have a shot at passing the Senate.

The Medicare board is central to Obama's healthcare reform law because it's one of the few provisions aimed at reining in federal health costs. Far from endorsing its repeal, the president actually proposed strengthening the board's powers last year.

Obama has a plan to kill off everyone over seventy-five. No more hip replacements, knee surgery, and God forbid if you were to have cancer.
Some of my older neighbors despise him and his attempts to kill them off after they reach a certain age.
Plus, less older people to remember the days of freedom...
I remain hopeful that the SCOTUS over turns the whole damn law.

Well, don't count on it! Most Americans have their head buried in sand.
Most of them can't even tell you who's the attorney general, vice-president, etc....when our country goes down the tubes..these are the ones that will say "what happened?"

I think that many Americans are just fed up with DC and no longer bother to vote. It seems that no matter which side is "in charge" the downward spiral continues.
My main problem with the healthcare issue is it's a total debacle regardless. Meaning, it's sort of amusing to me to see people rip to shreds -- and rightfully so -- Obamacare for forcing citizens to purchase something. But then they defend our current system, which is basically no-limit spending. I just saw an article on MSN.com today about how there are thousands of people who literally live in hospitals as "permanent patients." Now, MSN thought they were damning the healthcare system for not spending enough, since the reason behind this is that these are uninsured and sometimes ILLEGAL patients who can't be placed in nursing homes or long-term facilites. So hospitals are forced to literally just board them. MSN was thinking you'd go "why, the injustice!! If only we paid a little more, they could save the system millions!!" Of course, MSN is like most liberal retards, missing the forest for the trees -- which is that we are spending millions per person on UNINSURED and ILLEGAL patients. I thought we didn't do that here! Only in Cuba!
My point being, though, that the problem with healthcare is that I could be anyone and expect and receive the highest level of care and technology available to mankind. That's our status quo and that's what a lot of people are fighting tooth and nail to defend because that's what they want. They don't want Obama's "rationing board," not because of principle but because they want unlimited spending ON THEM. It's a farce.
Literally part of me wants Obamacare to pass so that these people DO get rationed out. I'm not even joking. The reality is it should go the complete opposite way, where people pay for their services -- like every other industry in America. But if people don't want to do that, then why NOT ration them out?
