I was a huge TRUMP FAN from the beginning.

Yes, I will admit I am unable to predict the future (mebe).

I will also STATE I admire and still (for a while) prefer Ted Cruz.

But President Trump has exceeded my expectations.

His SOTU had me in tears - more than once.

I only pray to God his CHESS GAME will ultimately crush the TRAITORS.

I hated Trump, but now I'm glad he won. For all the great things about Cruz, he was not the one chosen by our Patriots, Trump was.
Trump has an amazing group of people in his corner, including the military, as well as skin like armor.
Cruz would have mead a great POTUS, but he'd never have been able to take the left down the way Trump has.

The people made the Right choice.

OMG!  You'll have to excuse my inability to express my outrage at this crap in words.  It's not like  Trump said, "American citizens are the dreamers in this country."  But he said, we are dreamers TOO - ALSO.  How on God's green earth do you get offended by stating something as factual and obvious as that?  These people make up reasons to be offended - it's akin to offending a woman for asking her to dinner.

Every now and then someone breaks through, someone who will not and cannot be denied.  That's Trump, and thank God we got him.  He'll never give in to the lying rhetoric and always get the last word in, subtly or not so subtly.  I have to be believe there are still a ton of people who normally vote dem, but who are not going to put up with the party constantly making it sinful to do well for oneself and appreciate what it takes to do that.  The leftists are shaming people who are more successful than others as if it's embarrassing to prosper when others aren't.  They even rake on someone for saying that ALL LIVES MATTER, because that's supposed to be "offensive".  How on earth did we get to this point?

All the Cruz supporters moved to the Trump camp, so immediately, like most of us, and some grudgingly, but I know of no one that didn't finally move over.
Hell, even RINO Bill Krystal finally caved.

In my view Cruz would be a good president. However, he is still a Washington creature and would have operated within those parameters. Trump is totally out of the box and that is what makes him so effective and popular with the "folks".

I agree, he would have done well, even possibly another Reagan, but like Reagan, he would be up against a bunch of leftists, meaning the GOP Establishment instead of the Dims like Reagan, and like you said, would have been forced to work within their leftist framework.
There's a reason the powers that be, didn't choose Cruz, instead went with Trump. By Powers, I mean Patriots and the Military.
I think they may have considered Cruz had they never met Trump, but I think it's pretty obvious, Trump cultivated these connections over the years, long before Cruz had even considered his intention to run, they had decided Trump would be the next POTUS.

Hindsight pretty much proves this has been in the making for years.
