In Flynn's situation, of course you would take a plea deal and plead guilty. It allows you to avoid having a worse outcome by going to trial. Of course, if exculpatory evidence hadn't been withheld from, Flynn might have viewed his chances in a potential trial a bit differently.

And no, accepting a pardon does not have the legal ramification of declaring your own guilt.

Socialist??? I paid into that damn government program for 50 damn years before I received one cent. For ss, I paid 6.5% and my employer paid 6.5%, if I could have kept my $, I could have retired 10 years earlier.
