The founder of the Trump real estate enterprise was Fredrick, a Bronx boy and his heir apparent was his son Robert, who died early and prematurely. During the transition, the Trump estate was managed by Donald and his sisters, which was the source of his early wealth; some $75,000,000. Decades later that figure is some $7,500,000,000, a hundred fold increase; all due to miraculous good luck no doubt. For the record, I personally have known both Ivana and her daughter Ivanka, for more than 15 years.
So what's your point, that "OK, he started out a little rich"?
Face it Walter, the guy is a lying lib that will say and do anything to get what he wants, even lie to a flock of idiots willing to overlook his past.
I gave you solid evidence that the guy changes his mind as often as the seasons, and your rebuttal is "He was only a little rich"? (translated)

The thing about this forum, is nothing gets sugar coated, if one of our candidates has warts, we don't pretend about their existence, nor do we lie about their existence, it's how we keep getting stuck with Establishment candidates, because we refused to acknowledge their flaws early on, only to have the media and RINO use it like a weapon later in the campaign.
So lets not fool ourselves into settling for a lib like Trump and start making excuses for the scum rag lib.
We all appreciate what he's done, but that's no reason to settle for a lying rhetorical lib.

Solar w/respect.
My core point was direct and simple, namely that great men, as Lord Acton asserted, are not good men.
Jesus Christ's mission was saving souls; Julius Caesar's emphatically was not. Is Trump a nice guy, prolly not; nor were Otto Von Bismarck, Douglas MacArthur, Winston Churchill among many, many others. But they were movers and shakers. We'll find out, soon enough, if Trump is cut from that fabric. However you're still not getting the phone numbers of the Trump ladies.

Are you delusional? Placing Trump with the likes of Churchill, MacArthur, Jesus for that matter? What, no Reagan, God maybe?

If you're going to equate Trump to anyone, try Ponzi, Barnum or Bailey, Frank Abagnale, but just because the guy made millions, in no way makes him worthy of your aforementioned list.
That's rich, as well as entertaining.

Plain English from an 80 year old.
Man is not perfectible, Trump among them, which is what an original mind like Acton asserted!
Yet some are shocked, SHOCKED! My sad condolences. Get well, but more importantly, get real!
Suggestion: hope for the best but always expect the worst in leadership.
No further interest in this Trump fandango, as the voters will call the tune.

You can vote for a liberal.  I have no idea why you would want to, but go ahead.

Sorry Walt, but I refuse to let Bull Shit go.
Trump is a proven lib and liar, the man is without core principle, and for you to attempt to put him in league with established historical leaders is ludicrous as well as defamatory to former world leaders.
To back a man that has nothing to show beyond rhetoric for accomplishment, to flip on every issue he ever stood for and claim it's how business is done, then to have seemingly intelligent people such as yourself defend bad behavior, expecting the rest of to overlook liberal deportment and support your guy based on emotion, only to dismiss his rejection as a Spanish dance?
Nice attempt at spin, something I'd expect from the likes of Trump. Says a lot.

Do this, if you seriously want to show support for Trump, then post something substantial that proves his character beyond that of a lib.
Keep in mind, he'll be compared to the likes of Cruz at every turn while proceeding through this litmus test, as he will when the voters take a real comparative analysis of the two men.

Hows that for a mental image, Cruz and Trump being comparatively analyzed before the voting public, where Trump's accomplishments and his words are shown against Cruz, a man that never changed his principles.

Who do you think they're going to choose? Be honest...

Trump says things that get people's attention that will not happen. I heard another example of that just this morning. Trump said he would instill the death penalty for anyone who killed a cop. Of course, no plan with the statement. The death penalty is a state matter. There is no way he could pull this off.

That's just it, you and I know what he can and cannot do, but the average angry LIV is clueless, and gets caught up in all the rhetoric.
When he and Cruz meet in a face off, Trump will be picking his up off the floor.

I've always appreciated what Trump has done, but now it's getting old real fast and someone needs to call him on this shit, but they won't.

This and Trump fandango brings to mind a story Ken Blanchard, the management guru, told many ages ago.
'A climber lost his balance and fell off the mountainside. While falling, he miraculously grabbed a tree limb and held on. Steadying himself, he looked down, then up and shouted "Is is there anyone up there who can help me???" After many moments had passed, a voice boomed," I WILL HELP YOU, BUT FIRST YOU MUST LET GO OF THE TREE LIMB". Again the climber looked down, then looked up and shouted, " Is there anyone else up there who can help me???" What is the tree limb???
It's a metaphor for those incapable, in life, of letting go and moving on; be it a dead end career, a promiscuous marriage partner, a failing investment, a dead political ideology and so forth. In this case, its Donald Trump and their contempt for and seething animus toward him, causes all comment directed at him to be personalized w/venom and lacking either humor or perspective. In any case, stay pure.
