Excuse me, but what does "Black men 7 times more likley...." have to do with white men?  We didn't commit their crimes.  We didn't injure their victims.  We didn't cost society 100's of thousands of dollars to capture, try, and house their carcasses for half their life.

It isn't a problem to either blacks or whites, it's simply a fluke of population statistics. The white population is seven times larger than the black population. Therefore any given black that commits a crime represents a larger percentage of the overall black population, than does any given white who commits a crime. In reality, as a total number, there are pretty much as many black ex cons out there, as there are white ex cons; which is a reflection on those individuals, moral failings. Not a reflection on any over ethnic, religious, national, or any other group they might be a member of.

Are they willing to admit blacks (boys and men) are at least 7 times more likely to commit crimes? Since they comprise 12% of the population, that makes them nearly 100 times more likely to commit violent (and petty) crimes). Is THAT what he's saying???

Marion Barry decided we needed more racial diversity on the WASH DC Metropolitan police Dept. Therefore those with arrest records
could not be disqualified as candidates, It only counted if you had a felony CONVICTION...and that had to be a cirme of violence.

So if you were a convicted check forger or a convicted car thief
you could be a police officer...or firefighter.

You could have all the misdemeanor convictions you wanted and still get an academy appointment.

So now corporations/companies will be forced to have a certain percentage of their workforce to be ex convicts, minority, gender and soon you will have mentally disabled/age representation as well. The libs are destroying economy and freedom with their social engineering schemes.

Honestly? No. Ever tried removing a bad tenant, squatter graffiti? sometimes It's easier to move the dwelling.
Not saying it's impossible, but the laws need to change first, tort laws across the board needs gutted, then we can talk.
Scrap the ADA 1990 act, quit giving preferential treatment to one group over another, it merely builds resentment in the majority group.
Funny how our society managed to become the greatest in all of history without all this leftist BS, and now that it's firmly entrenched like a gangrenous ulcer, we see our pinnacle in the mirror.

I just don't see a cultural shift, unless we can convince America that living off of others is shameful, like it used to be, and not a badge of honor.

More promises to the takers.  Given that most ex-convicts will swear that they really did not do what ever they were convicted of or that they only got in trouble because the cops do not like them they feel that they are unjustly being harmed when they cannot get a job because of their record.  Just an extension of the overwhelming sense of entitlement felt by most of Obama's supporters.   

In their mind they should have more of the stuff that other people worked for just because it is not fair that some have more than others.  I think in their mind the effort and time and work involved in getting ahead are of no consequence and that stuff just falls from the sky and those who get more than others are just greedy and took more than they needed.

I really would like to set up a small community where anyone who had less than someone else was able to take some of what ever it was for themselves.   I am sure that in a short time all hell would break out because even those that do not have that much would have more than someone else.
