Gods, I hate having zero respect for a US President.  But I don't.  He should've studied Pygmalion; the Greek sculptor who fell in-love with his own statue.

I was playing 8-ball in Gunny's Shack, outside Spring, Texas, when some bikers came-in and emptied a baggie-full of quarters on the table as I was lining-up my shot.  The bar went dead-silent.

I said something like:  " 6-ball off the 1982-pile, "  expecting some sorta chaos to happen.  They laughed and picked-up the quarters.  One of 'em said: " We wanted to see if we scared you or not. "

That's how ya deal with Russia and China.   Never let 'em see ya sweat.
