For some reason, leftists are in love with the idea of heavy industry. Doesn't matter if the country has they resources or could profitably be doing something else. Something more sophisticated, like computers. Leftist comes to power, they want to start building steel mills. I think they love the idea of manufacturing simply because it turns out physical objects, which can be counted, as a measure of "success". Reminds me of the old Soviet Union. They would have a shoe factory that turned out a million pairs of size sevens. Not because anybody wanted or could wear them. You simply made them because then you could brag about a million shoes produced, whereas if you made them in more sizes you could would have to make fewer. Mindset. Leftists hate service industries, because output is more difficult to ascertain.

He is going to throw around executive orders like they're nothing...  He isn't going to go quietly...

I may be way off base here, but one positive thing is, I don't see him whining and deflecting.  He may not be able to fix everything, in fact, I am almost certain he won't.  At least the (unbecoming of a man of that office IMO) whining will probably stop.
