Hillary won't run in 2016

The media would love nothing more than to see Hillary Clinton run for President in 2016. It is not going to happen. Hillary served 8 years in the U.S. Senate and 4 as secretary of state, after having been First Lady for 8 years. That is two decades of being in Washington D.C. in exhausting positions. She has said in the past she'll go back to the private sector. I believe her. Bill wants her to run because Bill Clinton loves campaigning. 2016 will be an open primary; democrats will choose between front-runner New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, Maryland Governor Martin O'Malley, Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, Virginia Senator Mark Warner, a few other long shot candidates. Our party will choose between Senator Marco Rubio, Governor Bobby Jindal, Governor Chris Christie, Former Senator Rick Santorum, Governor Nikki Haley, and a few other long shot candidates. "Clinton nation" will likely back Cuomo, who served in the Clinton administration and whose father spoke at the 1992 DNC which nominated Bill Clinton for President.

There is another possibility.  If you google "Eric Holder President" several links describe that possibility.  The Obama campaign organization is still in business, currently supporting his fiscal cliff campaign.  No reason to assume they will disband, and putting something like that in the WH would serve their racial and ideological agendas.

If that possibility isn't frightening enough to cause the GOP to be pragmatic enough to get more voters, I don't know what would motivate them.

Historically, Presidents become less popular in their second term. Therefore, anyone who is closely associated with this administration will have a hard time winning a general election. In the past half-century, we have had three incumbents who have remained somewhat popular during their second terms - Esienhower, Reagan, and Clinton. Of those who were popular, only one person associated with the popular administration, George H.W. Bush, was able to succeed the popular President. Eric Holder would lose a general election; he is a very indecisive and weak leader. Should he run, which I tend to doubt, I think Andrew Cuomo would beat him because he would be seen as able to win and would have the backing of "Clinton nation."

Hillary is gonna run in 2016...bank on it....Hillary will win if she does.

If she doesn't I'd rather see a lying asshole like Holder or even a Rino
turncoat like Powell who at least are not avowed Marxists.

What you say is true, but the effectiveness of the Obama campaign team cannot be dismissed and the media could make a difference in supporting another African-American and far left ideologue.  That team and the media reversed a decades-long trend that had predicted an Obama loss based on the percent unemployment, the percent who thought the country was on the wrong track, and his disapproval rate.  You can say the trend was reversed because of their successful campaign against specific Romney vulnerabilities.  However, who could say they could not find or create similar vulnerabilities in future challengers, both in Democratic primaries as well as a general election.

I think a Holder election is a very long shot, but after this past election, you can't assume too much.

LOL, I've gotta' comment on this one.  I wouldn't have had near the bad taste in my mouth had she been elected president the first time instead of Obama and i still think Romney was high-jacked.  Never-the-less, Obama is president, by hook or crook.  Ever since Hillary lost her bid for president, she's been "running" alright, but running away from Bill.  It'll take from her excluding herself from the  Obama adm. until 2016 to rest up and be able to run some more, but this time for president.  Yes, i think she'll be ready to "run" some more by 2016.   It'll be about time for some more of the Clintoons.

C'mon, man, she'll be damned near 70 by then!

I think she'll dump Bill, and find some younger (say 30 - 50 y/o) who can maintain her standard of living and walk off into retirement.

I honestly think she has had enough of politics.

I also think that she is still more than a little pissed off at having the 2008 Nomination stolen from her.

I tend to agree, she won't run, however, she will do what Carter does and take blindsided shots at the Right through the leftist media.

I think she's going to wait about 2 years and dump Bill no doubt. Then she will be a shoe in to the lefties, look a divorced women making it on her own. She'll write a book about how bad he was and get sympathy from all the leftover Hippies.
Honestly who will the Cons put up?
Christie should be a shoe in if BJ continues to move forward but the media would make him a Joke because of his weight.
Rubio is already getting hammered because of some lie about his family fleeing Cuba and the list goes on. It will be very hard to overcome the media, the libs have free taggers to throw at the cons for four more years.

She might be nearing 70 but bill doesn't act like he'll ever be too old.  Right about now she might be remember dissing Tammy Wynette for coming out with that song, "Stand by Your Man".  The irony of it all-too funny!     ....and yep, I think the election was stolen from her too.  She, like Romney, looked like she was gonna' win and then all of a sudden we got this big movement going to bow before the man who was gonna' be everything all of us could want and that's all she wrote!  I wouldn't put it past this administration to already be conjuring up ways to keep that rascal at the helm after this 4 years of destruction.

Age is what you make it, I have been told.

It just takes a little longer to get from here to there.   But then being over 70 one has all day to get there and back.

Even at 70 she can do a lot of damage.
