I saw it more as a perfect scam against African nations thinking they would really benefit by selling their carbon shares. By the time they caught on, Gore would be out of business and out of legal reach.

As for the $149/gallon gasoline, as any Democrat can tell you, if they only make more of it at public expense the price will inevitably come down. Right. Uh-huh. Wasn't that their basic line over solar power?
