Remember how the Dims were praising the Muscum Spring?
Cairo (AFP) - An Egyptian court sentenced deposed Islamist president Mohamed Morsi to death on Saturday for his role in a mass jailbreak during the 2011 uprising.
The judge issued the same sentence to more than 100 other defendants including Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Badei, who had already been handed the death penalty in another trial, and his deputy Khairat al-Shater.
Morsi, who rose to the presidency in 2012 as the Brotherhood's compromise candidate after Shater was disqualified, ruled for only a year before mass protests prompted the military to overthrow him in July 2013.
He and dozens of other Islamist leaders were then detained during a crackdown that left hundreds of his supporters dead.
Many of those sentenced on Saturday were tried in absentia, including prominent Islamic cleric Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who lives in Qatar.

It is becoming evident to me that the Egyptian government is getting its act together. They obviously see the threat from the Muslim Brotherhood and not afraid to destroy them. They and the Israelis have much in common as far as stability in the MS is concerned. That alliance may be the future of the ME once we rid ourselves of Obama and the US becomes an ally again.
He was Muslim Brotherhood, and we have these people here crawling all over the White House.

Side note that the guy who has the final live or die say so is the Grand Mufti in Egypt. That's actually not a bad idea, from one perspective, not that I would like to see us adopt it. This way, they are laying off the capital punishment decision on the religious authority, hopefully closer to God and off the conscience of human authorities.
No to go on and on, here, but I also read the rationale behind stoning is that no one really knows who cast the fatal stone. Kind of like having one blank in a firing squad.

That is true red_dirt...
Prior to the invention of firearms.... stoning was the most "just" alternative available. Stoning preceded the guillotine, hangings, and crucifixions.
I always wondered how Cain slew Abel. What was his weapon?
..... probably a stone!
Then there was the little shepherd boy who honed his marksmanship on wolves and coyotes. He got so good with that slingshot, he could sink a stone right between the eyes of the big guy.

What an utter horrbile interpretation of what happened.
First off, to cite any court proceeding in Egpyt as anything serious is a joke. The Egyptian judicial system is a kangaroo court as evidenced by the fact that 100s of journalists and thousands of of political prisoners. They are merely a reflection of Mubaraks old elite that still maintain power.
Sisi, the current leader, won an election universally condemned as a complete sham. He is widely held as a major violator of human rights abuses and one that now is back in favor in Washington.
Obama came into office praising Mubarak. He did everything possible to hold out support for him until the very last minute when it was clear that Mubarak couldn't maintain power. The only thing keeping Egypt afloat right now is American military aid and Saudi funding.
Sisi killed a thousands protesters in a single day and has about 15000 people in jail. People there are saying he was worse then Mubarak and numerous humanr ights groups are warning that support for him is pushing more peole towrds Al-Qaeda.

Sisi is one hundred percent worse than Morsi. The Egpytian people clearly think so. Stability was brought to Egpyt only if stability means under US control while opressing actually Egyptians.
The real problem in Egpyt is the military elite who after decades of fincaning by the US own the country, steal funds from it, etc.
As I said, a US-allied with Morsi would do far more to end anti-US hatred then backing another corrupt murdering dictator.

So, endorsing the persecution of Christians and destroying Christian churches is OK with you? When it comes to the ME there are no good options for the US. Therefore, we should align with those who are willing to work with us. Referring to the military, name me one Muslim country where the military is not corrupt. I will repeate I referred to that name calling in response to someone using the term "muscum" which is name calling against an entire group of people. Not out of losing any argument.
There is no argument to be had with racists and bigots. You dont enter into debate with NAZIS, for example, that Jews aren't subhuman.
Furthermore, to defend Muslims agaisnt the term muscum by calling the name caller a bigot and ignorant is in no way using name calling cause I am losing an argument.

(some credit for this probably deserves to go to the former Soviet Union who were Egypt's buddies during much of the cold war. The USSR played hard ball with the jihadists and required their client state to not kiss their ass. This was during the time when our client state was Iran. The Shah of Iran also dealt harshly with any jihadist. Egypt eventually tired of the Soviets aand turned to the West. They stopped flying Migs and having their military trained in the USSR and started flying American warplanes and having their military trained in the USA. Life was good for awhile! Egypt used to be a favorite destination for western vacationers. (My Grandmother traveled to Egypt). It was safe and the loved all things western and controled the lunatic fringe (until the Muscum Brotherhood killed Anwar Sadat). Much of the credit for the instability of the middle east belogs squarely on the shoulders of former Pres. Jammy Carter. Thanks Jimmy for the world we live in now. How'd that Humanitarian bullshit work out ousting the Shah and supporting the Muscum Terrorists! It's all part of the Carter Legacy!

Excuse are bigotted terms okay on your site? Such as Muscum and nigger?
If they are not then please censure those using them. If they are then what is the problem with my term which is much milder in comparison?
I will repeate I referred to that name calling in response to someone using the term "muscum" which is name calling against an entire group of people. Not out of losing any argument.
There is no argument to be had with racists and bigots. You dont enter into debate with NAZIS, for example, that Jews aren't subhuman.
Furthermore, to defend Muslims agaisnt the term muscum by calling the name caller a bigot and ignorant is in no way using name calling cause I am losing an argument.
You guys are living in a dream land where actually soruces are non-existent.
Can you source Who used the term "Nigger"? I don't believe I've ever seen in on this site unless it came from a quoted source, it is not a common term here. Are you Muslim? You seem oversensitive to the term Muscum!

Probably a recruiter for ISIS.

I was in Egypt in 1979 for a ten day trip. I went to all points of interest.... but the conditions were not good enough that I would have traveled there independently. Corruption was rampant. Everyone wanted a kickback. It was a far less safe place than Saudi. No one dared break the laws in Saudi because punishment was swift and harsh. Not true in Egypt. And it was actually dirtier than Saudi. I did not fear traveling around Saudi but I did fear Egypt.
I found the most pleasant Arab nation to be Jordan. It was fairly safe and unrestrictive.

I referred to name calling once...when I saw the term "muscum" used. Thus, I called someone ignorant for using a bigotted term. Nothing at all like you described nor have I had one person cite one source since I have been on this site.
So this is a complete garbage statement.
"You are racist, ignorant bastard. "
You stand corrected.

Don't you DARE try to imply that the word "nigger" is used here even rarely. You run those two together hoping to leave exactly the wrong impression.
As for "muscum".... Why so serious, Batgirl?
I have SCORES of names for the bowel waste trash who defile the word humanity by their very existence. These filth (who worship a pedophile lunatic caravan-robber and his mythical god, the running dog Allah) are a disease and must be exterminated by any means necessary.

That's what passes for a liberal kids rebuttal when they can't refute what Conservatives say.
So far he has refused to accept any evidence contrary to his view of life, regardless.
I had hoped he was smart enough to connect the dots, and with that thought, I was dead wrong.
He hasn't the capacity for critical thought.
It always amazes me to see these kids become so volitionally gullible and willing to believe any lie the left tells them.

Lighten up Lucy, muscum isn't a real word. Quit being politically correct, it's a bore and makes you look like one of those people who looks for dog whistles in every conversation.
I do not see Christians beheading "infidel," butchering women's genitals or committing other unthinkable disgraces against the female gender. This ignorant bigoted clod of a college boy has absolutely no concept of injustice, and instead manufactures it according to what's cool in school.

My goodness. I wonder why we have not seen Obama slamming the death penalty of Morsi? The fact this regime is so attached to the Muslim Brotherhood is quite telling.

Hey liberal many here know exactly firsthand what islam is all about. They're musscum's and given what they did to babies in the maternity ward in Kuwait city, that's a descriptive term that is nice. ohhhh you don't like that made up word too bad. As for your calls to "censore" posters, again typical liberal behavior, we can't refute an argument,. so we'll just shut the other side up. As another already told you, when you were busy boohooing someone called you a liberal, if it walks like a dog and barks like a dog, and wags it's tail like a dog, it's a dog.

He wants to imply we're all just racists for not liking a 7th-Century mentality rooted in CENTURIES of cruelty toward women and men alike. His knowledge of Islamic atrocities is not just pitiful, it is deceitful. Nobody in the modern world can deny what Islam does, wherever it goes. It is not a religion, it is a virulent death cult and a disease.

It is my hope that our next "conservative" President will invite the UN to leave!
The UN needs it's own country so the host country will not have undo influence so I suggest we Have the Brits donate the Falkland Islands! It would be the perfect location and close to Antarctica so they can witness the effects of Global Warming first hand!
The Falkland's would also make a great location for the new Palestinian home land! The Palestinians were nomadic sheep herders And Sheep is the Falklands #1 farm product!!

Can't do that. The Falklands should be designated for the Margaret Thatcher Library and Amusement Park...

I've always sort of thought it might move to the outer suburbs of Baghdad...... formerly called Babylon!
That lines up with biblical prophecy!
They would build a new Tower of Babel......where all the languages once again come together....... call it a reunion of the ancient dispersion of all the people groups!

Good too. I hope they put them in a cage, or on a cross, see how they like it.
It seems that when the islamists started talking about blowing up Giza, and defacing all the tombs there. As the islamists did in Afghanistan with ancient buddha's.
The Majority of Egyptians all said, woah! Hold on there, that's all my income!
