Don't know too much about the topic but have some thoughts...Although Carson is thoughtful, insightful and a joy to listen to, I think Obama has polluted the water too much for any foreseeable black person to be nominated President from either Party. Plus, he lacks political experience, seems to be too laid back, lacks charisma and most importantly, I doubt he wants the job. Based on his experience he could be the Surgeon General, which is pretty much an invisible job.

Cruz, while interesting, appears to me to have something "off" about himself. Call it woman's intuition but something about Cruz just doesn't seem quite right.

So, not really knowing any of the other potential top candidates, I nominate Jeb Bush for President and would tell him to select a gal for VP (but not a black one).

I'm going to pretend I didn't see this.....

The dems would love to run against another Bush. He would give them a perfect distraction from the record Obama will have posted by 2016.

Carson is the one that I like the most in that list.  Part of it is that he is laid back.  He has a calmness about him that I think the nation needs, kind of like Eisenhower in the '50's, but I'll bet you dollars to doughnuts that he's a tough one.  I haven't met a doctor yet who doesn't have toughness.

I'm not that wild about Cruz, either, for some reason that I can't put my finger on.  I would like to see
Rubio run for POTUS or be on the ticket.  As for Jeb Bush, I believe that he'd make a pretty good POTUS, but the nation wants a new name.

The point of the OP is an all black conservative ticket. Would any libs support it?
