Couldn't happen to a nicer state...

Maybe NY will run some more citizens away from that state.They are not interested in keeping all their citizens.Many have already moved away .I just don't understand people who will destroy some of the good they have established.

I just hope all those New Yorkers DO not come to North Carolina.In the past year 27,000 new families have already moved here and more are coming in everyday.The traffic problem is terrible.

I hope they all move to New Jersey.! :)) :)) ::)

I have news for you traffice problems is just a start for North Carolina then.  Power will go up, Water will go up, More property tax will be just around the bend for you also.  When they move in that fast everyone will pay.  :o   Been there done that.

There are some here in New York that say  Bloomburg should run for President.This is a guy that has made his passion to manipulate your live;not just with smoking.   When a city allows a mayor to change the rules to get elected a third term (Chavez) they do deserve what there getting.The problem is that the rest of New York state or at least 15 counties are really carrying NYC. We here pay a Metro North TAX (train).On motor vehicle registration ,payroll,cable,cell phone. Even if you never use the train.Point is this is what could be coming to you.I would like that Upstate New York not have to keep pulling from their pockets. I don't want to bail to your state need help here in New York to make that crappy way of thinking  a minority

They pull the same crap here in Ca, like the Peripheral canal the runs from the central valley to the South stealing water from the North, all because LA sucked it all up, but we all have to pay for crap like this.

So solar what do we do ? Watch it happen .We both carry our states spending sprees . Sure you probably don't want to leave where you are ;same here. I'm really starting to pay as close attention as possible to the local. It has to start here in my hood,my town,my county,my state;and my country.   I'm going to try here in New York by learning more ;but hard to find the truth on things like town ,county,state projects and why there good ideas . I remember the stories with the water issue in the area that you live in.That got me as mad for you guys as the same stuff we have here. Hoping to really get those who before they leave my state understand it's going to follow you.I don't know how to there or here when the reporters are content with the same-o. Never cause and affect on us.

From what I've read and heard, LA has a long and distinguished record of "acquiring" the water resources of other areas. Wasn't the LA basin a desert? I've read that the LA River is dry most of the time. Yes?

There is a way to find up and coming Conservatives, join your local Tea party.
They push Conservatives, nor Republicans necessarily.

We have made some tremendous headway here in my county alone banning together and getting out the vote on the Right people.

Hell, there used to be a giant lake in the in the Owens valley that LA sucked dry, and the river you refer to I think is of the same name.

Here it is today, a salt flat.
They actually had steamboats doing commerce on the 100 sq mile lake.

And yesterday so to speak.
