I know about this mostly because I am one of the "followers" of the conservative page, both on facebook and on their blog (I won't post a link, as they are a competitor of sorts.  The page is called Chicks on the right, and though they are derisive of the Obama administration, they keep it pretty clean.  I don't agree with them %100, but the site is good.

this won't be the first time a group I have taken part in has been banned because of conservative thought, for some reason, I (apparently ignorantly) assumed FB was big enough for everyone.

I've been seriously considering shutting down my FB account. This gives me another reason.

The American (Conservative) way would be to close out accounts and start a rival competition to facebook and drive them into the dirt.

That is exactly what has happened, a tea party group has opened a site like fb.  Right now it lags quite a bit, but I hope it will grow.  I came back here to say that fb sent an apology to the chicks, blamed it on minions, blah, blah, blah.  I am sure it had nothing to do with coverage on FOX, even if it was just radio.

You need to tell them about us, in the event they have nowhere else to go.

I will let them know, they have a new page set up at a tea party site, but they do check out many conservative pages.

Should be required reading for the GOP, though it's a very small book, it would take their entire term to get through it, I'm sure.

Well, after the dust settled, COTR had between 10,000-11,000 new friends yesterday.  Talk about a huge backfire. 
I am just so tired of the left shutting down conservative sites, it is the main reason I was looking for a forum like this.  In the past, the online conservative groups I have joined have all been either shut down, or given so many rules that you can't talk. 
I told Mock and Daisy about CPF, but I can't promise they will stop by.  Both work full time, write the blog, write fb, and now write at the tea party site, plus responding at all these places.  They work pretty hard to get the word out.
