I usually download everything on Kindle too. I don't like to take the Kindle to the water park, though.  I'm afraid it will get stolen while I'm in the pool.  For water park days,  I use the good old fashion book.  If it gets stolen--oh well. My friend loaned me Deadline.  I had to thank her for not warning me it was apparently on the Liberal ban list! LOL.

Strange I will have to find this Liberal ban list.      I didn't know there were books I'm not suppose to read.     Toy

They'll distract us with crap like Chick-fil-A so we won't pay attention to the economy and every other issue that will bring voters to the polls in November.  I agree with everything you just said.
Bingo!!!
That's exactly what this is, their way of keeping Hussein out of the news.
I've kept track, every time he is getting a lot of attention in the media, his poll numbers start to crash.
I wonder what the next distraction will be, because the last few have completely backfired.

These idiots don't seem to have a clue where their kind of thought could take them. First you muzzle free speech, Once you've accomplished that, you start removing everyone who disagrees with your agenda. Like the jews and maybe the blacks and hispanics because they're different from you. Don't forget the gypsies. Then you have Nazi Germany all over again. And we all know that they didn't do much damage during their reign in Europe.
Any time ya get to thinking about yourself as someone of great importance,  just try ordering another mans dog around.

I would like to report that I was by the pool reading my son's Hunger Games novel, and nobody said a thing.  So, Hunger Games is safe reading!  :ttoung:

I estimate I'll have them all read by tomorrow night.  I consume books.

That's me too, my to-be-read list has turned into a bucket list because it is so long, I will never get to them all, and what's worse is that it is an ever-growing list.

I'm trying to figure out why the libs have an issue with Deadline.  I honestly couldn't put it down.  It reminded me of the Da Vinci Code, but from a Christian/Conservative point of view.  It did; however, focus on the NWO, Illuminati, and government corruption.  However, the book is FICTION.  Why would any liberal have a problem with a Fiction Novel?  Someone please enlighten me.

Liberals are uncomfortable with anything that puts Christianity or God in a good light.

They consider liberals, and liberalism, to be the ultimate source of good................planet wide. Belief in Christ or God, are seen as roadblocks to their goal of being completely in charge.

"The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is the demand for their real happiness."
― Karl Marx

"Religion is the impotence of the human mind to deal with occurrences it cannot understand."
― Karl Marx

"My object in life is to dethrone God and destroy capitalism."
― Karl Marx

Interesting quotes, Mark. KM was always full of shit, though. The second quote is actually fairly close to the truth, I think, but it should read "Religion is the result of or a response to the impotence of the human mind..."

The third quote exposes Marx's worst mistake, IMO: equating God and capitalism, or at least that they were inseparable and codependent. Notice that he didn't say, "My two objects in life."

Marx understood, that as long as God played the central role in people's lives, government could not.

I think that there are a lot of people out there, that have never heard of Marx.................therefore, Obama's speeches sound fresh and new. A centralized, omnipotent, government, that creates equality and fairness for all.

He's just rehashing everything he was taught as he was growing up.

They want to boycott Amway now. Maybe I should look into selling Amway. If this turns out anything like the Chick-Fil-A boycott, I could retire early.

They're also boycotting the Orlando Magic. As if the average sports fan gives two farts about politics in general, and gay marriage in particular.  :glare:
