One thing I learned working for the govt wildlife service and genetics lab, is plants adapt to a certain area, they develop differently from ones a few miles away, but they all originated from one plant.

Take Lanes Butterweed, a common plant in many areas, and most places call it a fuckin weed with a yellow flower, but because it grows in my area near a rock quarry consisting mostly of serpentine, or as the locals call it, Georgetown Jade.
They left used this fuckin weed to shutdown the quarry because serpentine is full of asbestos, that evil mineral!
So they claimed, because it's growing in serpentine, it must be special and endangered.

My entire area is packed with this shit, but thanks to commies in govt and their media, they created a huge problem for the rest of us via the courts and failed Tort Laws.
Sure, if you worked in a ship yard that used the mineral you probably died with Myelo Fibrosis a few years early, but we all die eventually anyway.

Anyway, I digress...
Point is, the left has ruined science, medicine etc, to the point no one will trust them when we need to.

Instead of protective the insane crap they protect, we need to protect the unborn children instead of slaughtering them at will.

When I first moved to California 40 years ago it was the first thing I noticed.  As it was so the opposite of Illinois (where I was raised).  Everything here was dried up in the summer and green (from the rains) in Winter.  Toy

I feel for this guy...

Had the same percentage of 3rd degree burns as he did, the treatments take weeks, 24/7, every 2 hours they rip off the old bandage, scrub off any new skin growth, apply salt water and rewrap it, rinse & repeat every 2 hrs.
After weeks of this process of little sleep, they remove a patch of skin somewhere on your body (mine was the ass, I don't recommend it), run it through a tenderizer so it stretches, then they put you in a bath of salty water, scrub off all new growth till it bleeds, then apply the new skin.

They actually told me to curse so as not to hold in the pain..
I heard a 90 year old woman in the next stall, and she made me look like a church deacon.
She was so crass, I won't even repeat it, but suffice it to say, it had a lot to do with ramming medical instruments up where the sun don't shine, slowly and painfully intended, removed and turned sideways and repeated, she swore she would bite off his appendage if they hadn't strapped her down...

I really hope they made improvements in the last 50 years for his sake.....

He screwed up is report, the clarity of the water goes about 60' down, the lake is approximately  1,645' deep.
