We survived all these decades without social media. We don't need them. Let's start with the banning of TicToc and the like.

I hate content creators. They harass people with pranks. They harass people with fraudits. They harass people with stupid crap. If somebody pulls out a camera, you can automatically assume that they are the aggressors. Not every complaining lady is wrong. Everything doesn't need to be on the internet.

Where does banning stop? After they silence CPF?

Don't confuse social media with your run of the mill discussion forum. Don't confuse the rantings of someone who will never be president to the reality that it already happening. Who's more likely to silence CPF? A politician, or a big tech company? If you took money as donations, PayPal or the like would stop that.

I just don't see anything getting fixed. All these big tech companies are ran by leftists. They get grilled by Congress, but nothing seems to get fixed. It looks good when you see a clip of them being grilled, but I don't really see action.

Donald Trump got banned on Twitter, but people who shouldn't ever be allowed a platform can still post. It took Elon overpaying to allow a US President to post again. I always said he should have publicly stated he is going to Gab, and really damage Twitter at that time.

Not only is TikToc a national security risk, it is a human risk.

Only option I see is to be really extreme with big tech/social media and severely and immediately punish them if they go outside basic legal/Constitutional parameters while within out borders. But, that will never happen.

What you identify as a national security risk might not be the same as Biden's, Pelosi's and Schumer's. Plus, if we use the first amendment as a guideline, what we would censor on social media? I prefer to stand with the group that gets it's direction from the constitution.

How do you draw he line? Banning any form of free speech is unconstitutional, regardless of the platform.
