COLORADO GOP CHAIRMAN IS GETTING DEATH THREATS FROM TRUMP SUPPORTERS – 3,000 PHONE CALLS

This is utterly despicable and every Trump supporter should be ashamed and disgusted by this. This is exactly what happens when you have a fraud and a charlatan running for president and the only way he can get votes is to whip up the stupider and more vicious idiots of the American public.

I don't think the Trump supporters are capable of shame or outrage. They are no better than the leftist loons that wanted to assassinate G.W. Bush!

They should be pissed at Trump and his ineffectual organization for not understanding the rule change in CO!

IMO - anyone who threatens violence or posts crap trying to incite that kind of behavior, needs to be banned from this forum.  Let them find some other place to peddle lawlessness & strife.

Hoofer you do realize right, that if this were 1775, we'd have to ban the founders from the site, under that sort of rule.

Every one of them advocated violence against their own government. Because of what were/are political reasons.

Then there are all the folks on this site who've advocated war against Islamists like Isis.

That is also advocating violence. True it's against our enemies, but it is advocating violence nonetheless. We'd have to ban them too.

Or are we just selectively to ban folks whom we disagree with. I say we should do that here. Why? Because it's so much easier to just have one of the mods or admins ban them.

Than to actually formulate, and then post a logical reasoned rebuttal to an argument.

After all, this IS why liberal sites like the N.Y. slimes for example, do it.

That way they can all sit around and pat each other on the back, telling one another how intellectually superior they are.

Without having to be bothered by some pesky conservative who might say or post something which demonstrates they aren't quite as intellectually superior as they initially thought.

One of every five Americans you meet has a mental illness of some sort. Many, many, of our veteran's suffer from mental illness like PTSD now also. Help if ya can. :) http://www.projectsemicolon.org/share-your-story.html
And no you won't find my "story" there. They don't allow science fiction. :)

Wrong, on many accounts.
This is not 1775, and we are not under the King of England, this isn't a "FREEDOM" issue - this is about CIVILITY and measured discourse.

When I ran a large multi-line BBS for 11 years, we dumped users for abusiveness, threatening others (Me, my family, other CoSysops), because at some point, you draw-the-line and stop providing a open forum - a rallying place for these kinds.  Many of these "nuts" consider it a badge of honor to be dumped, and only show up to cause as much disruption as possible, driving away legitimate, intelligent posters.  After the 2nd or 3rd time for us, we smoked them out early and saved the BBS from being run-into-the-ground.

I've hardly been around for the last week, and it already looks like a different forum, or headed in a different direction - just my opinion.

Which brings up another point, for the passionate but silent Cruz supporters.  If I have the time, and my candidate is not being vigorously defended, SPEAK UP, and take the offense!  If you're short of ideas and policy, visit his website, listen to a speech, debate or whatever, bone up on a few issues, and MAKE YOUR CASE.  It isn't that hard to see the stark differences between Clinton, Kasich, Sanders, Trump, and Cruz.

For example - Cruz is the only one for smaller government, less regulation, restoring liberty and fiscal responsibility, by contrast, the other 4 are for more government control, more regulations, gun control, regulating internet, and socializing everything from healthcare to education.  That definitely registers with me, and despite my limited ability to compose a good sentence (like Quiller, Taxed, Solar & Walks) - I'll at least try!  I'm not offended by superior wordsmiths - my ideas and positions ARE superior.

We, Ted Cruz supporters, are standing on -firm- Constitutional ground, well established American values - these other 4 Democrats shouldn't even be running - in any party.  We have allowed them to MOVE our party, and out of desperation/frustration had to create TEA.

Before you respond, consider Mark Levin's Show - a beacon of Constitutional truth & liberty, growing quickly beyond Mark's imagination, and ask yourself, if his program would be better by giving the Liberals an equal footing, you know, walk that thin line..? I got so many hours in a day, why the heck do I want to waste it wading through post after post of crap?

Daidalos, I respect your opinion, you've earned it - but, this is where & how the Republican Party lost-it's-way...  now we need to close ranks and quit giving quarter to the enemy.

Trump supporters want to throw out the baby with the bath water. We don't need to start over. We need to uphold our laws and constitution.  We need to have a leader that believes in personal responsibility.

I've heard so many times that Trump is the only one who can save us.  We don't need a savior. We need a principled leader who will empower us to save ourselves.  Trump and his supporters whining about Cruz cheating and their vote doesn't count is a prime example of this idea.  You realize when they whine that they don't have a clue how this election process works. They act like all that is expected of them as members of the Republican Party is to show up and vote! When you try to explain  caucuses and state conventions the first thing they say is that is for the GOPe, regular people don't go to those so it's unfair. And, I think to myself, these people shouldn't even be allowed to vote. At the very least they shouldn't have anything to do with picking the Republican nominee because they actually think they voted in a general election. They can't even get it in their brains that the majority of the Republican Party does not support Trump and we are trying to pick the candidate that is acceptable to the majority so the most people will get out and support the nominee and vote for them.

Good point!
THAT line is the difference between Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump.  Self-reliance.  We don't want your help, just remove the constriction of these government regulations - government IS the problem, not the solution.

Hoofer I didn't say that in this situation such behavior was appropriate, just that there are times when it is the appropriate response.

As for "starting over". I would worry myself with telling the State Legislatures that then if I were you.

32 States last I'd heard the count, have standing calls for a new Constitutional Convention to be held.

Once two thirds have, well...all bets literally are off then. God only knows how the Constitution would look after the libtards of today got their hands on it.

The last thing this country needs is a constitutional convention to destroy the original document.
