NBC News staff writer Michael O'Brien tries to assure us that it's "enough, already" about coverage of 2016 politics...but the humor in this otherwise mostly objective article comes from the Prince of Poundage, Bloat Boy himself...
Quote"I feel badly for President Obama," New Jersey Governor Christie said recently. "He just won a year ago, and everybody's like, 'So, who's next?' ... There is work to be done in this country. And as we shove him out the door, we minimize his ability to be an effective executive. And we shouldn't do that."

Ya think he's got some kind of man-crush on Jug Ears, maybe?
Note the skepticism regarding Shrill, Witch of the North...and no mention of WHY they think Chris Christie is viable, whereas they spend far more time on Rand Paul, and a few other early-birds in the 2016 race.
QuoteMedia organizations have already spent thousands of dollars and even more man-hours commissioning polls about 2016, and following prospective candidates to Iowa, New Hampshire and South Carolina. Texas Senator Ted Cruz might be a mere freshman Republican with scarcely a year of congressional experience, but his status as a potential 2016 candidate virtually ensures that his actions are more closely covered and scrutinized than any other back-bencher's.
And then it gets good, talking to Iowa Republicans more concerned with 2014 races that could snag a governor and a U.S. Senator.....
Ya gotta love how the left tries to float a Christie balloon.
That's like a lead dirigible.
I think what they might be saying in this is, don't force us to push any one candidate quite yet, because the masses will quickly tire of them.
Look at how they foist Obozo on the nation, a virtual no one, but lets not forge all that when they start attacking Cruz.
the only ticket i will support is Rand Paul/Kristi Noem

This looks just like the romance with McCain.

ROFL!!! Good memory.
The left loved the maverick, he was willing to reach across the isle, just like Fat ass.
The left knows their ignorant base, and many weren't even born till after the McCain love affair had died in the first run up against Bush..
It's not clear to me whether Christie's Bromance is going to increase or decrease his chances in 2016. It's my opinion that much of the country has had their fill with polarizing party politics and that someone viewed as a "middle of the road" candidate may be wildly popular and run away with the election.
Not my preference, but I'd rather end up with a Christie ticket than a Hillary ticket... were I to know in advance that running a hard right ticket would result in a win for the declared social progressives. This is exactly why Scott Walker is becoming more of a favorite to me...more fiscally conservative than Christie and, much like Christie, viewed as more moderate -- less the Bromance

A table of 20 or so REPUBLICANS went to the private room of ritzy DC restaurant on INAUGURATION DAY 2009, and PLOTTED how to make OBAMA FAIL. Guess it was never too early to talk about the NEXT ELECTION for them!
According to Draper, the guest list that night (which was just over 15 people in total) included Republican Reps. Eric Cantor (Va.), Kevin McCarthy (Calif.), Paul Ryan (Wis.), Pete Sessions (Texas), Jeb Hensarling (Texas), Pete Hoekstra (Mich.) and Dan Lungren (Calif.), along with Republican Sens. Jim DeMint (S.C.), Jon Kyl (Ariz.), Tom Coburn (Okla.), John Ensign (Nev.) and Bob Corker (Tenn.). The non-lawmakers present included Newt Gingrich, several years removed from his presidential campaign, and Frank Luntz, the long-time Republican wordsmith. Notably absent were Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) -- who, Draper writes, had an acrimonious relationship with Luntz.
It's the same old strategy. Convince the GOP that a moderate is your best chance to win. They believe it, pick a RINO and lose.

What is your point? Are you suggesting that Dinghy Harry and the wicked witch from the west weren't doing the same thing?
What the hell is this idiot talking about?

No--they were at one of the 20 some inaugural balls. (Hellloooo!)

Cruz has been to Iowa--6 times as I remember hearing. He was sworn in January--this year! Golleee gee, if boys and girls who profess their interest in being PRESIDENT show up in the first 2 primary states 3+ years before an election, do you think the PRESS might just follow them?? Funny how that works!

Epic fail at distracting from what you quoted, but for you that's not new, it's a standard feature like autopilot. As anyone knows, The Hussein™ did not
need help to fail, aside from the ignorant Donks who enabled him.
After all: the Donks are distancing themselves from Obama, trying to save the seats they still have. Just how much more failure and bald-faced inept lying from Jug Ears would put the GOP over the top?
