The Clarkston/Asotin area would be one of the few I'd consider.  Almost all the states politics east of the Cascades is palatable...and, as a bonus, they still have no state income tax (they'll be back soon for another crack at it).  But knowing that the Land of Oz (Puget Sound) will carry the day for the social progressives is hard to take. 

The state that will soon fire Kay Hagan.....North Carolina.

Las Vegas.  I've never been to the northern part of the state; hear it's rugged country up there.  I also hear the famous Moonlight Bunny Ranch is somewhere up there, too.

When I first got here (and one of the reasons I came in the first place), was Nevada was rock-ribbed conservative.  Then the liberal Democrats, fleeing California, began arriving in droves.  One of the results of that was the re-elections of Harry Reid.  I'll never forgive them for that.

Actually I think it was unions and there use of illegals voting in number.
Though I don't doubt for a second that idiot Californians had a part to play, we get the same nonsense up here in the mountains.

I live on the Columbia River, Oregon is just across the river.  But a 40 min. drive by car one way or the other.  Idaho is 1.5 hrs away, just a nice drive for the day.  It nice we can shop in all 3 states.
