This is my predictive statement. I say this because soon you won't be able to get home insurance, or afford auto insurance.
Take the average home in Ca, insurance used to run around $2.500 a year, but rates for the few left in Ca, will go to $10 K+ per year.
Now, just assume you lost your house in a fire, deductible aside, you may not even have insurance, and if you have a mortgage, you may have to dump your home because not many can afford an extra 10 grand a month in their budget.
I didn't include new permits, cleanup, new environmental fees as well as not being allowed to even cleanup with out a permit?
Most mortgages never included these new laws simply because they didn't exit at the time, so you could be looking at an additional hundred grand depending.

This is not just L.A., this is state wide.
