Lord, this thing millenials have with boomers is real. They REFUSE to blame themselves for their own misery.

I got suckered into a discussion with a millenial on Twitter: (I'll post the thread)

QuoteLOL nah, I'm too old and see through the newbie shit. The milennials put Barry Soeberkah in office offering them free shit and hope and change. That kicked off the commie push (although it was happening for a long time at glacier pace). Then, they were stupid enough to buy into boys can have periods, etc. I think the pendulum is swinging back, but milennials are, by far, the worse generation we've EVER had.

Easier for me to just copy and paste the rest since it's getting cut off:

Her:

QuoteMillennials got duped by shiny promises and woke nonsense, sure, but every generations got its blind spots. Boomers fell for trickle down economics, Gen X ate up nihilism. Calling millennials the worst ignores how we've driven tech industry innovation and exposed mass systemic rot. The pendulum's swinging because we're waking up, not because we are uniquely awful. Let's not forget the term limits problems. People in congress have been sitting for generations at this point.

Me:

QuoteCutting tax rates is good for an economy. Not sure why you'd take the hard left/Marxist/Bernie Sanders perspective that cutting taxes as low as possible is harmful to anyone.

Regarding tech, millennials absolutely did not drive tech. That was boomers (who laid the foundation) and Gen-X -- those of us programming on early computers before we had our pubes. Using the latest iPhone without having any idea how it works certainly is not "driving tech".

Regarding term limits, that's not the problem. The problem is the unsecure voting system. With a secure voting system in place, the people become the term limits, as they should be. Term limits are an attempt to band-aid and obfuscate the cabal-controlled election system, where some Soros clown can be termed out with another one ready to be installed in their place.

Her:

QuoteBoomers, the sanctimonious OGs of wrecking shit and dodging the blame. Hypocrites who were snorting, smoking, and dropping acid like it was a full-time job. They partied harder than any millennial raver, then turned around and preached "just say no" to the kids they barely raised. Millennials might've got suckered by woke BS, but boomers invented getting high and checking out.
Boomers abandoned their kids like it was a competitive sport. Latchkey gen x and early millennials raised themselves while mom and dad sought self-discovery or their 3rd maybe 4th divorce. They shattered the nuclear family, left kids to fend for themselves, and called it liberation. Millennials, for all our faults, are at least trying to parent. Boomers just yeeted their kids into the void.
They tanked the economy and called it progress. Boomers rode postwar prosperity, hoarded wealth, jacked up housing prices, and saddled millennials with student debt for degrees that dont pay. They built the system, milked it dry, then whined about lazy kids when the scraps ran out. Millennials are hustling in an economy boomers created andthen mocked. Boomers act like they invented the internet, but their "innovation" was clunky fortran and typewriters.  Boomers set the table and millennials cooked the damn meal. So millennials bought into some dumb shit like pronouns, whatever. But boomers? They're the ones who got high, ditched their kids, and burned the world down while preaching they saved it. Worst. Generation. Ever.

Me:

QuoteUs Gen-Xers did the drugs, which were much harder. Boomer partying was like snorting Fun Dip compared to us.

Not sure why you're hung up on wealth. Terms like "hoarding wealth" (what else should you do with it? blow it?) are economic propaganda inflicted on you by a school system created by the communist globalists you and I are (I think) in-line with despising. That's not a generation thing -- it's a running thread that spans generations. That evil pushing for war is the same line of those who took out JFK.

It seems you're not appreciating the impact of what the Vietnam War had on the boomer generation. They didn't have it like you or myself. You can't conceptualize being forced to go to war. I was at the tail-end of ducking under desks for bomb raid drills and scared the Soviets were going to launch an attack, and still I can't imagine being told I have to go die in a war.

The boomers didn't shatter the nuclear family. The evil who started Vietnam, infused inner city with drugs, took over San Francisco from the libertarians, and on and on are the ones who shattered the nuclear family. Or, to use your argument absolving yourself from the being duped by wokeness, the boomers were "suckered".

Latchkey kids stuff wasn't bad. Being left alone at home wasn't bad. It's actually an advantage we had, that I wish you guys had. We were able to learn and explore on our own in a somewhat protected way. I loved and missed those days.

Millenials are indeed trying to parent, and thankfully your Gen Z kids are rejecting that woke/commie shit you guys are still stuck on and distorts your perspective on economics.  I have a few Gen Z nephews and I'm actually hopeful (one mother is Gen X, and another Millenial -- both more to the right).

The economy was trashed during Carter. After Reagan, it was fine, up until the end of Bush, and through Hussein. Trump rescued it from the dead in 2017 (big part of that was tax cuts -- remember that?).

Regarding student debt, I have zero sympathy. I dropped out of high school, yet managed to have a pretty decent life. I know plenty of millenials, and people my age, who I told them college is a bad, stupid idea, unless they were going for something big, like engineering, medical doctor, etc.  I've been preaching how that's the biggest scam in history, and you have to be a fucking idiot to have been duped into that.  That's on you and you only -- not boomers.

At some point, millenials have to take responsibility and accountability for their own misery and failure at life -- especially when Gen X was telling them the entire time what they were doing was a mistake and they need to develop some sort of vocational skill instead of hiding in school and playing video games all day.

As for the economy, Trump is bringing the jobs back, despite you wanting them to remain overseas (remember Hussein talking about them never coming back and him railing against "trickle down" economics, i.e. tax cuts?). I'll anticipate you'll say you were "duped" into voting for a communist, who told you to your face he was going to bankrupt the coal industry, you didn't build your business -- someone else made that happen, you need to spread the wealth around so it's good for everyone (Plumber Joe moment), but yet try to saddle that communist economic policy on Reagan-era boomers, which is insane and misguided. There was a massive boom under Reagan because of what he was able to accomplish.  That's just a fact.

Boomers aren't the reason for millenials' shitty generation. It's millenials. I told them younger than me "don't rack up student debt!", and "don't vote for that communist", etc. We were ignored, and now you want to boomrang it onto boomers.

Regarding tech, one thing millenials have no appreciation of is the innovation of something, and how hard it is to get it off the ground.  Creating the concept of a computer, which was the foundation of modern tech, shouldn't be overlooked. Millenials are the generation of not appreciating fucking anything. It's very Bernie Sanders, and "you didn't build that" Hussein (for whom you voted).   The "it was just Fortran"... well, let's see you make some Fortran NOW, nevermind with the early tech back in the day.

Millenials will continue to blame others instead of taking responsibility. They did that then, and they will continue to do so. I live in the same economy as you, yet we have different experiences. Why?

OUCH!!!
Did you call an ambulance? :bigl  :bigl  :bigl

I swear, these kids know absolutely nothing about history, and then swallow whatever the leftist talking points are the Marxists feed them.

I got into it with one of these kids on truth, claiming he was 60, he wound up exposing himself as a Faux Conservative, but before I left him bloody and beat with his own words, 4 other morons came to his defense, and as you can guess, that didn't go well for them.
One thing about Truth, you can beat the shit out of them and not get banned.

Trump won, and these kids followed MAGA, but they are nowhere near Conservative, they're right leaning liberals.

Totally. This is, without a doubt, ex-Hussein/Bernie supporter. The "fell for the trickle down economics" quip is what exposed her.
