I can't find this story anywhere but at youtube. But if true, this will save Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler.
The current CEO of Stellantis was running the company into the ground, and dealers despise this idiot!!!

Chrysler's troubles started in the 1990s when Daimler Benz bought them.
It was announced as a merger, but actually it was a hostile takeover.
Chrysler had built a new design center in Pontiac MI.
The building has several wings - for design, manufacturing, etc.
In the middle of the building, where all the wings came together,
they would keep a prototype of whatever new vehicle they were preparing.
Each department could easily see what impact their decisions were making on the product,
and how their decisions interacted with the other departments.

Daimler Benz closed that design center and put the building up for sale.
Daimler Benz shut down all new product development.

The result?  Daimler Benz bought the company for $58 billion,
and sold it a decade or two later for $8 billion.

They sold it to Cerberus (a private equity firm owned in part by Lee Iaccoca)
(Cerberus is a mythical 3-headed dog that guards the gate of Hell.)
After a few years, Cerberus sold the company to Fiat,
which in turn was bought by a big money corporation, Stellantis.

If Elon Musk bought Stellantis or Chrysler, he's taking on a real challenge!
Nobody can re-create what Daimler Benz destroyed.
The best that can be done is build from scratch something similar.
Here are the 10 RINOs who voted to impeach Trump on Jan. 13, 2021 - NEVER forget!

Why recreate it, when the basics are there to rebuild? There is still a lot of patents which carries a lot of value, distribution, dealerships, supply chains. No, there is still a lot of value in the network alone.

Musk is no dummy, he knows there's a lot of money and players in the game, people well connected to politics, that they would once again get a bailout.
Musk knows this, and Musk is the perfect conduit to make it all happen.

You and I have always been the ones sacrificing our tax dollars to keep the 'machine' alive, nothing ever changes as long as the well connected remain in power.
Musk also has a lot of "New Money" backing him, possibly more than the old money is willing to sacrifice going forward, relinquishing power to new money to save their already dwindling losses. Musk knows this. Greed is a funny monster.

Someone else contacted me, explaining that Musk's involvement has been an open secret for the last 3 years, that he has a lot of power within.
I don't know how much truth is in it, but he seemed to know an awful lot about the subject.
Even at this stage in the game, the new world always surprises me.
