Germany's attempt to create a multi-cultural society has failed completely, Chancellor Angela Merkel said at the weekend, calling on the country's immigrants to learn German and adopt Christian values.

"Subsidizing immigrants" isn't sufficient, Germany has the right to "make demands" on them, she added, such as mastering the language of Goethe and abandoning practices such as forced marriages.

Again....what about California.  I work in a government office.  We are required to offer our "services" forms, and language skilled employees to the client.  Last count I remember at least 12-15 different languages we "supplied" on a regular basis.   :o :o

European enclaves of distinct ethnic/national minorities isn't new. Germany just has more trouble accepting it will not succeed at a "melting pot" where these enclaves wind up assimilated.

    Seriously what is the REAL LIBERAL GOAL..what is it they really want...surely they have to see that their vision is falling apart all around them...I truly dont understand how educated people can be such blind fools...I guess that says alot about being overly educated and never spending a day in real life.

What does being an "educated" person have to do with anything?  Some of the most naive and ignorant people I have ever met have their walls plastered with college degrees and certificates and awards.  Look at what the government schools are teaching our young people these days!  They walk out of high school and college like a bunch of moonbat zombies with NO CLUE what the REAL WORLD is really like.
